This event commemorates the founding of Salina, Oklahoma’s oldest permanent settlement, founded by Major Jean Pierre Chouteau on October 10, 1796. Bring the whole family out to participate in events including an archery and shotgun shoot, horseshoe pitch and greased pig contest.
