2024 Festivals

Fountain Hills Oktoberfest - Fountain Hills, AZ - Sep 28 to Sep 29, 2024
2023 – organizers announced this event will take place in even numbered years going forward. Description: Fountain Hills Oktoberfest celebrates adjacent to the Nations 4th tallest fountain with a band flown in from Germany, German food including footlong brats, sauerkraut and potato salad and of course German beer. Kids can enjoy a play area with bounce houses FREE of charge. $5, 12 and under are FREE. Wear your Dirndl and Lederhosen for a free commemorative Oktoberfest pin.

Flagstaff Oktoberfest - Flagstaff, AZ - Oct 5, 2024
Flagstaff will see its annual Arizona Oktoberfest on Saturday at Wheeler Park from 11 AM to 8 PM. The event supports the Flagstaff Sunrise Lions Club. Live polka music, German beer, and free root beer floats for kids in the root beer garden. Contests for yodeling, costume, brat eating and beer hoisting.

Phoenix 10k and Half Marathon - Phoenix, AZ - Nov 12, 2023
This is the race that started it all, bringing the City of Phoenix to its feet back in 1976. Founded by Dr. Art Mollen, his vision brought his growing, vibrant city together with a sport still in its infancy. This inaugural event set the charge used to ignite the running boom in Arizona. Over the years, the race has hosted Olympic Gold Medalists, American record holders and more first time race participants than any other event in the southwestern United States.

Local food trucks and vendors serving classic German food will be on-site serving up delicious dishes including bratwurst, sauerkraut and spatetzle. The event will feature Samuel Adams Oktoberfest beer plus giant interactive games, a cornhole tournament and stein hoisting contests will take place throughout the day. Winner of the stein hoisting contest will win a trip to Boston for a two night stay and tour of the Sam Adams brewery. 21+ event

Oktoberfest Pineapple Race - Lake Havasu City, AZ - Oct 3, 2019
10th annual. Local businesses compete in this outrigger canoe race, starting at London Bridge Beach at the mouth of the channel, finishing at the Dog Park. Beer garden follows.
