2024 Festivals

Coeur d’Alene Oktoberfest - Coeur d'Alene, ID - Sep 13 to Sep 14, 2024
Admission to three musical performances, a glass beer mug and six sampling tickets. It runs from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday and from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday. Also experience the Gran Fondo biking event at Oktoberfest.

MCPAWS Oktoberfest - McCall, ID - Oct 7, 2023
Annual fundraiser for MCPAWS, a regional animal shelter, will include beer garden, food & craft vendors, kids activities, adoptable dogs and live music. Costume contest for adults and kids as well as raffles. It is held at Alpine Village, a resort style condominium development in the downtown area. Held annually on the first Saturday in October. Lava Hot Springs Oktoberfest - Lava Hot Springs, ID - Oct 6 to Oct 7, 2023
Celebrate the start of fall and the harvest with fun next to the Portneuf River. Kick-off party on Friday. Saturday is Oktoberfest, a fun run/walk of 5k/10k, pumpkin chuckin contest, and the duck race. Food, beer and music at the Lava Community Building. The event is raising money for a bike path. Trailing of the Sheep - Ketchum, ID - Oct 4 to Oct 8, 2023
Annual event with sheep parade, Folklife Fair, concerts, lamb feast, cooking classes, Fiber Fest and more.

Emmett Harvest Festival & Street Fair - Emmett, ID - Sep 29 to Sep 30, 2023
A celebration of the harvest! This is a FREE event to attend full of food vendors, arts and craft vendors, and entertainment. Local orchards are available for picking too.

Oktoberfest Old Boise - Boise, ID - Sep 23, 2023
Live music, dancing, Bavarian foods, seasonal and Oktoberfest beers plus a Sam Adams stein hoisting contest. 3-10 PM. Location: 6th and Maine, Boise, ID

Nez Perce County Fair - Lewiston, ID - Sep 21 to Sep 24, 2023
An agricultural fair at Nez Perce County Fairgrounds. Daily admission is $8 for adults 13+. Children ages 6-12 are $5. Fair hours start at 10 AM and run until 9 PM on Thursday, 10 PM on Friday/Saturday and 3 PM on Sunday.

Hyde Park Street Fair - Boise, ID - Sep 15 to Sep 17, 2023
An annual fundraising event held in Boise’s Camels Back Park featuring vendor booths, activities for the kids, live music, exotic foods, cold beer, community entertainers, and a wine garden for three fun-filled days. All proceeds go back into Fine Grants and programs in the North End community.

BBQ Days - Kamiah, ID - Sep 1 to Sep 3, 2023
A free barbecue dinner that has been going on for more than 80 years. Other activities include the beer garden, art reception and show, quilt show, crafts, chuckwagon breakfast, street music and more. Since 1936.

Eastern Idaho State Fair - Blackfoot, ID - Sep 1 to Sep 9, 2023
One of two annual state fairs in Idaho. Enjoy the annual parade at opening of the fair. Attractions include horse races, food, motocross, bull riding, tractor pulls, demolition derby, fairground rides/games, and live music concerts. Since 1902.

Schweitzer Fall Fest - Sandpoint, ID - Sep 1 to Sep 4, 2023
Live music and more than 60 regional microbrews are on tap for this event along with sightseeing, souvenir glassware, kids soda tent and arts, crafts and food vendors.

Spirit of Boise - Boise, ID - Aug 30 to Sep 3, 2023
Family friendly event to watch the hot air balloons launch. Held at Ann Morrison Park. Free admission. Founded in 1991.

Twin Falls County Fair - Filer, ID - Aug 29 to Sep 4, 2023
Annual event for more than 100 years. Live music, Monster truck tour, carnival and rodeo. Free entertainment includes dog races, magic show, petting farm and more.

Idaho Mountain Festival - Almo, ID - Aug 10 to Aug 13, 2023
A climbing festival with workshops, trail running, live music, and more. Hosted inside Castle Rocks State Park.

Idaho Falls Oktoberfest - Idaho Falls, ID - Sep 24, 2022
Come enjoy German beer and food. We are raising the money for Special Olympics and Wheelchairs for vets. New this year are the Hammerschlagen and Masskrugstemmen Tournaments. There will be a costume contest for the best Oktoberfest attire. Also there is live German music, German food, and of course German beer.

Canceled for 2021, look for their return in 2022. Normally: The Eagle Food and Wine Festival celebrates the culinary and viticulture delights by select Idaho wineries and pairing them with premier local chefs. This unique experience allows the public the opportunity to taste the best that the region has to offer. Live music enhances the evening. A portion of event proceeds are donated each year to worthwhile local organizations.
