If you live in VA, you will find plenty of fall festivals to choose from in 2015.  We have already found dates for more than 50 fall and harvest festivals around the state, including plenty of options near NOVA, Charlottesville, Roanoke, Richmond and Norfolk.  Choose one that celebrates your favorite food.  Find a music festival to enjoy some tunes. Taste of Culpepper – Culpepper, VA – September 5, 2015
Tenth annual “Savor and Sip Culpeper – a Wine, Food, and Arts Festival” happens in the Depot District on Davis and Commerce Streets from Noon – 5:00 PM. Sample more than 30 different wines, Waiters Race, cooking demonstrations and live music. Free activities for kids include a moonbounce, art projects, and games.

Craft vendors, Brewers Village, Food, Artisan Stage and other activities.

Heart of Virginia Bike Festival – Hanover County Courthouse – Sept 12, 2015
Consists of an English Century (101 Miles), a Metric Century (64 Miles), a Half Metric Century (34 Miles) and a Family Ride (11 Miles).

Bay Days – Hampton, VA - September 11-13, 2015
The 33rd annual event will attract over 200,000 visitors to the city’s downtown waterfront. Live music, 8K Run, car & motorcycle show.

Neptune’s Fall Wine Festival – Virginia Beach, VA – September 12-13, 2015
19th annual event. Oceanfront wine tasting with live entertainment and food. Tickets before Sept. 11 may be purchased for $30 (Saturday) or $25 (Sunday).

Virginia Wine Festival – The Plains, VA – September 12-13, 2015
39th annual event held at Great Meadows.

Lynchburg Beer & Wine Festival – Lynchburg, VA – September 19, 2015
Voted one of the Best Festivals in 2013 & 2014 by Lynchburg Living Magazine. Over 5,000 guests attend the event at Lynchburg City Stadium. 16 wine vendors provide samples and there are nearly 100 craft ales and lagers on tap. Tickets go on sale July 1.

18th annual event celebrating intercultural diversity held at Hillandale Park. Free admission with food and crafts available for purchase.

Suffolk Peanut Festival – Suffolk, VA – October 8-11, 2015
38th anniversary. A family friendly event recognizing the city’s agriculture heritage and devotion to peanuts. Concerts, amusement rides, contests and competitions, a demolition derby, a truck and tractor pull, motorcycle rally, fireworks. More than 100,000 attend over the course of the 4 day event.

11th annual event. More than 150,000 reportedly attended.

43rd annual event.

Fairfax Fall Festival – Fairfax, VA – October 10, 2015
38th annual event. Arts & crafts, food vendors, three stages of music & entertainment, and children’s activities.

Northern Virginia Brewfest – Centreville, VA – October 17-18, 2015
open from 11 AM to 7 PM on Saturday and 11 AM to 7 PM on Sunday. Beer pours stop one hour before closing. Held at Special Events Center at Bull Run Regional Park.

    The changing of the leaves, the cool crisp air, and hot apple cider seem to turn the fall into the season of festivals. Packed with hayrides, pumpkins, slides, making s’mores by the bonfire and more. Ticonderoga Farms is the place you want to visit for all the fun of fall this year.

    All our Fall Pumpkin Festival activities will be here for you and your family. Enjoy the great outdoors, the colors of fall and take a break from your busy schedules.

    The admission includes hayrides, activities and access to the pick your own pumpkin field. Don’t forget to get your own pie size pumpkin included with paid admission. Children under the age of 2 (23 months or younger) are free. Festival is Mid September to first week of November.

    Hours 9:00am—6:00pm

    Weekend Concession 9:30am to 4:30pm. Cash only.

    *Snacks and drinks available at Entrance Market area daily.
