U.S. News & World Report called The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park the 7th Scariest Place on Earth. Stephen King wrote half of The Shining in room 217 there.

Aspen Walking Tours - Aspen, CO
a tour about the darkside of Aspen (including its ghosts) throughout the year as well as a sixty minute tour of Ute Cemetery in October. The Dark Side Tour explores the ghosts, murder and mayhem in Aspen from 1879 to present. The tour departs on Friday at 7 PM. Advanced ticket purchase or reservations are required.

Banjo Billy’s Bus Tours - Denver, CO
ghost tours by bus in Boulder and Denver in October. They are offered on Thursday through Sunday nights and tickets sell out quickly. They pass Mackey Auditorium, Cheeseman Park, Denver fire station number one and the Croke – Patterson Mansion. The cost ranges from $14 for children 6-12 to $25 for adults.

Blue Moon Haunted History Tours - Manitou Springs, CO

The haunted history walking tour on Friday and Saturday nights is $15 with a special rate for couples that includes a book by your Waters. The haunted hearse tour is $60 and lasts approximately 75 minutes. The two hour ghost hunt in Victor starts outside the Victor Hotel (where many couples spend the evening following the tour) and looks for paranormal activity in the Victor Cemetery following a stroll through Victor. It is $50 per couple. Coming soon are tours of Fountain, Colorado and the Pueblo River Walk. Tours are generally offered from Memorial Day weekend through November 1st, but additional dates may be available upon request.

Capital Hill Ghost Tour - Denver, CO

Colorado Haunted History - Morrison and Golden, CO

The Murder, Mayhem and Madness Tour is a 2 hour tour departing from the Golden Visitor Center that offers spooky stories of this Wild West town. Tickets are $10-15.

Denver History Tours - Denver, CO
two different two hour walking tours of haunted locations in Denver. The Haunted LoDo explores the Lower Downtown area, entering two buildings if they are not otherwise occupied. It ends at Wynkoop Brewery with free beer samples. Haunted Capitol Hill is the tour that explores the city’s most famous neighborhood. It doesn’t go into any buildings but you do get to learn about the haunted mansions of the city. Tickets cost $20 per adult. Teens (12-18) are $10 each. Kids under 12 are free. They also offer a variety of other history tours.

Fort Collins Tours - Fort Collins, CO
walking ghost tours around Old Town in Fort Collins. The signature tour is 1.5 hours and covers about a mile with stories of local history and paranormal activity. The cost is $15. Versions of their signature tour are modified for a family friendly version of the tour and a late night version. They have paired with Colorado Carriage and Wagon to offer horse & buggy tours as well. It explores some haunted areas beyond the Old Town area covered by their walking tour. Lasts approximately 90 minutes. The minimum age on the buggy tours is 12. The cost is $20 per person. They also offer a 75 minute Ghosts & Goodies Tour that combines aspects of the normal tour (below the town tunnels and famous haunts) with delicious chocolates and desserts.

Mt. Pisgah Speaks Cemetery Tour - Cripple Creek, CO
History and the ghosts from the past come to life during the annual “Mt. Pisgah Speaks Cemetery Tour.” The Gold Camp Victorian Society, dedicated to the preservation of the history of Cripple Creek, hosts this unique tour, which is complete with character reenactments at different locations through the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Visitors will learn about the famous and fascinating characters who lived in this area and are buried in the Mt. Pisgah cemetery.The tours will take place on September 16 – 17, 2017. Tours will leave every half hour starting at 10:00 a.m. The last tour will leave the District Museum at 2:00 p.m. A donation of $10 per person is requested.

Pueblo Ghost Walk - Pueblo, CO
Regular 2017 dates are Sept. 29-30 and October 6-7, 2017. Tours leave every 15 minutes between 5:30 PM and 8:30 PM. All walking tickets will be $10.00 children 5 & under free. Dress rehearsal at 5:30 and 7:30 PM on Thursday Sept. 28, 2017 is $5. Starts at El Pueblo History Museum.

Stanley Hotel Tour - Estes Park, CO
a range of options from a 90 minute tour of the Hotel to a 5 hour ghost hunt. The 90 minute night ghost tour walks around the property but does not walk through the hotel floors at night. It is $20-25 per person. The extended paranormal investigation is $50-60. There are also special events around Halloween including a murder mystery dinner and masquerade ball. The Estes Park hotel was the inspiration for Steven King’s The Shining. He stayed in Room 217, where the chief housekeeper of the hotel in the early days fell during an explosion to the floor below, breaking both of her ankles.

The Haunting of the Yak and Yeti - Denver, CO
