Kansas Ghost Tours

There are at least five Kansas ghost tours and many more places that are haunted across the state.Fort Leavenworth is one of Haunted America Tours 100 most haunted places because of the numerous ghosts haunting the base, including the ghost of General George Custer.Also on the list was Stull Cemetary, referred to by some as the Seventh Gate to Hell.

Ghost hunts throughout Kansas including at Wolf Hotel in Ellinwood and the Garden of Eden in Lucas. Wolf Hotel is the home of several spirits as well as an underground walkway created in the late 1800s to offer passage to a variety of below ground shops in the area. The Garden of Eden is a limestone mausoleum built by author and social commentator S.P. Dinsmoor in one corner of his garden in the early 1900s. One to two tours are offered a year at Battle Canyon, where the last battle between Indians and the U.S. Cavalry was fought in Texas. Private tours are available at the Midland Railroad Hotel, Historic Fort Hays and Schweitzer Hotel.
