Presented by the Elizabeth City Historic Neighborhood Association, the proceeds of this seasonal ghost walk (check website for schedule) are earmarked for historic preservation. Enjoy the storytelling, historic architecture, and perhaps even a specter sighting if you’re lucky. Tickets $12, $10 with Military I.D. Oct 12th is the Pre-show at Maguire Theatre. Dates are Oct. 13 & 14, 2017 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Myst3ry Ghost Tours - Winston-Salem, NC
Designed for the hardcore ghost-lover, this 2-3 hour tour aboard the “Mystery Machine” covers every square inch of paranormal territory available, in both the Winston-Salem and North Myrtle Beach area. $30 per person. The Calabash tour starts and ends down by the water way by Hurricane Fleet. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and visits 13 area locations; however, you get to hear about 7 other local legends during the tour.

New Bern Ghostwalk - New Bern, NC
This October, the New Bern Historical Society presents their long-lived ghostwalk, with chilling tales to accompany the creepiest spots in town. Prices increase later in the month, so buy yours early to score a frightfully wonderful discount! 2017 Dates are October 26-28, 2017. A family-friendly event that combines historic spirits, talented local volunteer actors, historic sites not normally open to the public, and a fun-filled, creative environment. Meet spirits at 13 different historic ghost haunts including homes, churches, and theatres. Enjoy the ghostly actors who will share their spirited stories in the very locations that their characters lived and visited. This year all of the ghosts sites except the cemetery are indoor sites.

Queen City Ghost Tours - Charlotte, NC

Where Shadows Walk - Franklin, NC
Where Shadows Walk, Haunted History Tours of Western North Carolina run year-round; however, days of operation change with the season. All tours are 2 hours long. For the Franklin Ghost tour or the Moonshine and Murder tour, meet the tour guide in front of the Macon County Historical Museum (Address: 36 West Main Street Franklin, NC 28734). For the Sylvia Ghost Tour, meet at the top of the stairs at the old Jackson County Courthouse (310 Kenner St. Sylva, NC). ​
