Enjoy our new blog post about our journey to Halloween 2014.  As a new category we want to catch up with some interesting activities we uncover each week that you may want to enjoy in September or October this fall.

We begin Day 221 by posting a link to one of the many countdown to Halloween clocks on our new Favorite Funtober Websites page.  Find wonderful websites listed that we believe will add information for your fall fun.  Halloween this year is on Friday, October 31st, 2014.

For example, I discovered there are many hot air ballon sites around the country.  Taking the family on a ride in a hot air ballon sounds delightful to me.  Much better than skydiving which some of you might like but not exactly heart friendly for someone like me with two heart attacks.

In January, Lake Havasu in Arizona has one of the largest hot air ballon festivals in the world.  Did you know this year zombie paintball and a haunted house have come to this popular resort?  Look for information on the 999 Dead Haunted Attractions.

If you want to skydive, test drive a Nascar race car, go hang gliding, or other such type activites check out Adrenaline365 on our favorites page.

Also I found out this week that the famous Winchester Mystery House will allow overnight guests for the first time this fall.  Experience one of america’s most beautiful but bizarre mansions.  This house has 160 rooms and more than a few odd happenings in San Jose, California.

If you are into paranormal adventures then read Norma Meyer in her article about the Ghost Tours of Catalina.  “Spirited throwback vibe haunts Catalina Island“.  Natalie Wood stayed at the Pavillion Hotel just two nights before her untimely death.  I had no idea the island off the coast of Los Angeles is a vortex level 6 place.  (Whatever that might be?)

More updates to come as we countdown to Halloween.  Bookmark and share our information on festivals, haunted attractions, Oktoberfests, Halloween, and a whole lot more.
