Four of us family showed up at Ernie and Linda’s pumpkin patch Saturday morning October 11 and found out that it was closed we called the number and they said they just decided not to open it up this year so I asked them to please put that on their website and go put a sign out on the road south of us drove 30+ miles with small children !!! Not very thoughtful.

If you are looking for a Pumpkin Patch in Northwest Louisiana come see us at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch in Shreveport, Louisiana. St. Luke’s Pumpkin Patch is a fun, family-friendly event held annually. In addition to pumpkins, we also sell hay bales, straw, cookbooks, t-shirts, water, cookies, and even have a small pumpkin themed boutique. For the past several years we have provided a “Trunk or Treat” event as a safe alternative to Halloween for the kids. Each year we try to add new things. This year we have numerous events scheduled including a Photo Contest, Pumpkin themed cooking demonstations, Swepco’s Louie the Lightning Bug, Card Making for Kids, Red Hats in the Patch, Concerts in the patch, and more!

Every dime of profit is donated to local missions. Last year we gave funds to the following recipients: Samaritan Counseling Center, CADA of NWLA, La Methodist Children’s Home, Gingerbread House, Oakwood Home for Women, Shreveport-Bossier Community Renewal, Shreveport Rescue Mission, Weekend of the Cross, Heart of Hope, Youth Challenge, G.R.E.A.T., The Hub. Over the past 25 years, we have donated over $234,075 to local missions. We couldn’t do what we do without your support!
