Celebration of Lights - O'Fallon, MO - Nov 24 to Dec 30, 2023
O’Fallon’s most historic park, Fort Zumwalt, is set to come alive with the area’s largest holiday light display. Each scene is designed and funded by local organizations, churches and businesses. Started in 1991, the event attracts more than 12,000 vehicles each year and more than 10,000 individuals during the Old-Fashioned Holiday Stroll.

U. S. Bank Wild Lights at the St Louis Zoo - St. Louis, MO - Nov 24 to Dec 30, 2023
This holiday season, escape to a wonderland unlike any other at U.S. Bank Wild Lights. This dazzling holiday event features brand-new light displays and themed areas. In addition to brilliant light displays, warm up with winter-themed treats, and say hello to the animals at Penguin & Puffin Coast and the Insectarium.

Turkey Trot STL - St. Louis, MO - Nov 23, 2023
Start a new Thanksgiving tradition by running or walking in your local, family-friendly Turkey Trot STL 5K. An active morning will help balance the afternoon’s calorie intake and your participation will benefit those less fortunate by supporting local food pantries. For participants 12 years and under there is a free 1/2 mile youth-run.

Ameren Thanks For Giving Parade - St. Louis, MO - Nov 23, 2023
Starts at 8:45 in downtown St Louis. Parade goers can expect over 130 parade units, including musical floats and displays, giant helium balloon figures, restored antique cars and firetrucks, and marching bands from around the St. Louis region. As always, Santa Claus will be present to wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season at the conclusion of the parade.

Over one million lights, new experiences and traditional favorites, plus s’mores, festive drinks, and photo opportunities. At Missouri Botanical Gardens. Member preview night on the first night. Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas.

Festival of Lights - St. Louis, MO - Nov 18, 2023
Family friendly and free event in Kiener Plaza with local holiday themed talent performances, new vendors booths and exhibits, photo ops with mascos, including fredbird, real live reindeer and a magical fireworks finale.

Annual Way of Lights Christmas Display - Belleville, IL - Nov 17 to Dec 31, 2023
Wintertime sparkles at the Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows as the Annual Way of Lights Christmas display illuminates the grounds. Since 1970, the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate have invited one and all to make the Way of Lights a part of their family tradition. This breathtaking display focuses on the birth of Christ, the one true light of the world.

Lantern Parade - Hermann, MO - Nov 14, 2020
Canceled for 2021. Hermann’s Christmas season officially opens with a Lantern Parade through the historic district, beginning at First and Gutenberg and ending at the Gerald Engemann Memorial Park, where Pelze Nichol will arrive.
