Wonder Woman 2 is currently scheduled for a release date of November 1, 2019. It will be a sequel to the 2017 movie and the eight movie from the DC Extended Universe. Gal Gadot will be back as Diana Prince (aka Wonder Woman). Chris Pine will reportedly return as companion and love interest Steve Trevor (despite the time jump). The current speculation is that they will be fighting the Soviet Union since the time frame from the movie title would suggest a cold war film.
The Cheetah is the archenemy of Wonder Woman in the DC Universe and will play the villain in the Wonder Woman 1984 movie. The character will be played by Kristen Wiig, who is known for her roles on Saturday Night Live, the Bridesmaids, The Martian and Ghostbusters. The Cheetah gets her powers from the Plant God Urzkartaga and has feline characteristics.
