The first annual Countryman’s Pleasure Oktoberfest is going to be a great party with live music, delicious traditional foods, and lots of beer under the tent for two Saturdays! On the first Saturday, come out to hear Boston folk/bluegrass band, Pesky J Nixon, whose latest album, Red Ducks, is on the top 10 Roots Music Chart. Your $25 ticket gets you dinner (choice of entree, salad and dessert) and your first pint of beer in a custom Oktoberfest glass. Bring your friends and celebrate, Bavarian style, at Vermont’s best German/Austrian restaurant! Free “Gramp’s Shuttle Service” from the Home Depot parking lot and back.
Get excited for the dinner options, which include Bavarian-style roast, half-chicken, bratwurst stewed in beer with sauerkraut, German potato salad, celery root salad, and cucumber salad, local corn on the cob, soft pretzels with mustard, and strudel! Event happens from 5:30-9:30.
