Silver Gulch Brewing & Bottling Co.Some trolls on here! Come on folks, we recognize our issues, and are asking for help (hard work, professionalism, positive 'can-do' attitudes) to help lead our team into better outcomes, and help create the positive experience that our customers expect and deserve!3 weeks ago · 6
Hope for the best. It’s about 5 min from the house but we don’t regular there. Not gonna say consistency is a problem because it is consistent. Ticket times and food service need lots of improvement. Honestly you can’t fix the problems in a day. When a good new restaurant opens they train for a couple weeks. When a new employee starts they train for at least a week (and they had previous experience). You need to close for a week to make the restaurant a destination. I don’t know one person that leaves town to go there anymore. Usually just stop there on the way back from up that way.3 weeks ago
I love your beer....but you’re 10 year old menu needs revising. It’s bad when servers tell you not to order something in particular because so-and-so is in the kitchen. You guys have SO much potential, but you’re falling short. The manager...an older gentleman....was completely unresponsive to recommendations and suggestions. He even told me one time that he wouldn’t take reservations for a party over 6. I told him I had 9 folks coming and he said sorry. I then told him that 9 people were showing up on a particular time and date and be ready for us. It was ridiculous.3 weeks ago
We were there for dinner last night for the first time in several years. Our server (don’t recall his name, but a younger guy) was very attentive! Entrees took a while to get, but that was no fault of his. The food was underwhelming. Not bad, but not anything to come back for either. What my husband and I noticed most was how run-down the place felt. We were seated at a high table (which was VERY uncomfortable to sit at through an entire dinner) and I had to change my chair out for one at another table, as it felt like it was going to fall apart. The bathroom, too, was so dark and shabby feeling. We discussed what a shame it was to see the place not live up to the potential it has. With some changes, Silver Gulch could be such an amazing place for our community!3 weeks ago · 6
Yes! We’ve stopped going after the past ten years of being our “go to” spot... then the menu changed... then the service sucked.. last time we went we were the only tables there (4 adults, four teens) we were seen twice. Once for our order twenty minutes after we were seated, and then when she brought the food. We had to go to the front to pay ... it was embarrassing. We will see how reviews go after this before we go again ... oh, and bring back the steak and potato salad!3 weeks ago · 13
With all due respect, you could definitely use some kind of ambiance/atmosphere/feng shui expert to come in and do some serious work. Ever been to the Glacier Brewhouse in Anchorage? It has a central fireplace, (which the S.G. desperately needs!!) warm lighting, and it just makes you want to hang out and stay. Something about Silver Gulch always seems so.... STERILE. If the place had a decent atmosphere I'd be happy to put up with slower service and even middle-of-the-road food. I've spoken to successive managers about this; no one seems to want to hear it...3 weeks ago · 7
This Mother's Day bring that special Mom in your life to Silver Gulch for an amazing meal that will be sure to make her day! Along with our regular menu, we will be offering two feature dishes as special as she is.
First, a Beef Tenderloin Steak with a mushroom and shallot demi sauce, rosemary scalloped potatoes, and fresh asparagus.
Our second feature is Chicken Cordon Bleu with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables.
And don't forget dessert! We've got a fantastic Blueberry Cheesecake with huckleberry ice cream and a Creamy Lime Tart with vanilla ice cream.
And of course we'll have all her favorite Silver Gulch beers on tap. Don't forget to take a growler home for her to enjoy later!
Happy Mother's Day to all the amazing Mothers out there from Silver Gulch Brewing & Bottling Co.! ... See MoreSee Less
