This one-day event offers close encounters with the “Gentle Giants of the deep.” Lake sturgeon are Tennessee’s largest fresh water fish and they can live to be over 100. This festival will feature outdoor educational exhibits along the shores of the French Broad River and the option of hand releasing a live sturgeon, showcasing these prehistoric creatures.
