Two events in October 2017. Do ghosts and spirits really haunt the former Lake County Poorhouse? Come take a walk through the long dark corridors with nothing but a candlelight to illuminate the way. Visit all the locations around the Lake County History Center where shadows and ghostly figures have said to have been sighted. They’ll even visit the foreboding cells used in the bygone days of the Lake County Poorhouse. They will demonstrate and you may borrow “ghost hunting” equipment, such as EMF detectors and dowsing rods, while on your tour (or bring your own equipment).
