Star Wars was created by film maker George Lucas and premiered as a movie in 1977. Yoda was the magical Jedi Master and keeper of the force. He trained Luke Skywalker in the ways of the force. Star Wars captured the battle of good against evil with of course good conquering in the end. George Lucas went on the make both prequels and sequels to his original movie classic. A space film unlike Star Trek, the characters live in a galaxy far faraway. Star Wars has generated over $4 billion in movie ticket sales and is the third highest grossing film series ever. Some of the classic characters include Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Princess Lea who all have costumes along with the popular Yoda costumes line.

Yoda is a legendary Jedi Master that has trained Jedi for over 800 years. He first appeared in the 1980 film The Empire Strikes Back. He may be small in size but he is wise and powerful. He served as Grand Master of the Jedi Order at the end of the Republic, and also held a seat on the Jedi High Council. Yoda shed his mortal body after a life of nin hundred years, but became one with the force.

A Yoda costume can be paired with Halloween costumes for Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker or Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader).
