Given how popular Apple products are, there should be a handful of discounted Pencils available online during Cyber Monday. Unfortunately, we will have to wait until Thanksgiving weekend to find out what those sales are going to be!

The Apple Pencil 1 is regularly priced at $100 and the Apple Pencil 2 is regularly priced at $129. The biggest sale that we have seen on this Apple device was $40 off at Best Buy a few weeks ahead of Prime Day 2019. The speculation online was that they were looking to clear out inventory ahead of receiving more inventory on the 2nd gen. device. This made the cost of the pencil just $60. The biggest deal that we have seen on the Apple Pencil 2 was $10 off in the runup to Prime Day 2019, making the cost of the 2nd gen. device at the time $119.
About the Apple Pencil
The first generation Apple Pencil was released in November 2015 and the second generation was released in November 2018. The 1st generation device is compatible with: iPad Air (3rd generation), iPad mini (5th generation), iPad Pro 12.9-inch (1st or 2nd generation), iPad Pro 10.5-inch, iPad Pro 9.7-inch and iPad (6th generation). The 2nd Generation Apple Pencil is compatible with the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation) and the iPad Pro 11-inch.
How do you pair the devices? The first generation is plugged into the lightning connector after removing the cap. The second generation is attached to the magnetic connector on the side of the compatible iPad Pro devices.
How does the Apple Pencil charge? The 1st generation charges by plugging it in to Lightning connector or by using the USB Power Adapter that comes with it. The 2nd generation charges when it is attached to the magentic connector and Bluetooth is turned on for the device.
