T-Mobile is struggling to find its place amongst the larger carriers. As a distant 3rd to Verizon and AT&T T-Mobile is trying to gain market share by offering great deals and excellent customer service. As an indication of T-Mobile’s push to onboard more customers they bundled Netflix into some of its plans earlier this year. They have been doing a lot behind the scenes to improve the quality of their coverage. T-Mobile used to be known for mediocre coverage, but over the last several years they have spent billions to improve the quality of their coverage. In fact, T-Mobiles spent 8 billion on low range broadband, which puts their coverage spectrum at the same level as AT&T and Verizon. If you package that all together it means they are going to offer some great deals on phones, tablets, watches, speaker and everything for Black Friday 2019.
Here is what we were predicting for Black Friday 2018 deals, bundles and savings at T-Mobile:
In 2017 T-Mobile offered a BOGO (buy 1 get 1), one of equal or lesser value deal through a rebate program. This deal included all the new and top end models, except Apple, which required $100 out of pocket to get the second device. The really good news is T-Mobile offered this deal on all of the most desirable phones for 2017. We think this is a great deal and something similar will be set to kick off in early November 2018. We do expect there to be an exception again with iPhone XS and XS Max. T-Mobile is already offer a free S8 with the purchase of a Galaxy Note 9. The Samsung deal will definitely be stepped up for Black Friday 2018. It’s close to BOB on the Galaxy Note S9, buy one get $720 off, but we expect that will be a true BOGO by Black Friday.
Besides the device specific deals. Keep your eyes out for some fantastic savings on carrier jump deals. T-Mobile is currently offer up to $650 per line in early termination and pay off fees. In many cases with T-Mobile with a Verizon device you can even keep it, just make sure to check for compatibility. There may be some flash or short notice deals on carrier switch.
We expect there to be some excellent deals on T-Mobile offering this Black Friday 2019.
