David and Jolee DuBois purchased a 54 acre farm in 2002 to become first generation farmers. Their pick your own farm is open from mid-August until early November with picking of plums, tomatoes, apples, pears and pumpkins. They also have a 2 acre corn maze, farm animals, pony rides, farm market and bakery with delicious desserts including apple cider donuts and pies. They hold a variety of special events including Honey Crisp Hysteria Festival, the Apple Daze Festival and the Great Pumpkin Festival. The Tavern at Dubois offers local hard cider, wines and craft beers. They are expanding and have planted Christmas trees and more fruit trees and strawberries, something to look forward to in coming years.
