We were on the radio yesterday! 🍎 πŸ”Š
.
It was our big debut so we were a little nervous, and we might have left a few things out. Lets fill in the gaps!
.
We are the McAdam family: Jack and Ellen and children Matt and Polly. Jack and Ellen are the current owners of McDougal Orchards, and Matt and Polly and their respective spouses are slowly but steadily integrating into the business and working on plans to be at the orchard full time.
.
This orchard has been in our family for going on 8 generations and has gone through many changes: adaptation, modernization, growth and consolidation. It will continue to change as we adapt to the world around us and as the next generation steers us in new and exciting directions.
.
We are committed to keeping our land in agriculture and continuing to welcome the public into our orchards to enjoy the outdoors and pick high quality fresh fruit. Open Farm Day is a great opportunity to visit us and learn more about our farm, it takes place on Sunday, July 28th. Mark your calendars! More information to come.
