They started their pumpkin patch in 1983 when a friend asked them to plant some pumpkins for a parade. They opened it to the public in 1989 and now grow around 30,000 pumpkins. They didn’t ripen in time and they invited grade school teachers to the pumpkin patch. Pumpkin picking is offered from noon to 7 pm daily from September 9th to October 20th. Also enjoy the kid’s corn maze, corn crib, bale mazes, slide mountain, pumpkin cannon and a variety of activities with a small fee: pony rides, horse-drawn hayrides, wagon rides and Sebastian’s Train. Was planning to go but closed the Saturday before Halloween. Could have at least been open for the whole weekend. Bummer.
