Big Island Ghost Tours - Kailua-Kona, HI

Started in 2013 by local resident, author and certified leading paranormal investigator Zach Royer, who has been exploring the paranormal mysteries of Hawaii as director of Kahuna Research Group for over half a decade.

They offer a one mile walking tour on the Big Island of Hawaii called the Kona Haunted Hele. The tour explores Ali’i Drive with an approximate length of the tour 2-2.5 hours. The cost for youth (ages 5-11) is $29, children 12-16 are $39 and adults are $49. Tour begins at 7PM. They must have a minimum of two (2) total guests to run the tour. Meeting location will be emailed at time of purchase.

Stories range from modern haunted buildings to tales of the spirits of the ancient Hawaiian warriors called the Nightmarchers. The tour employs the Kahuna Research Group to find paranormal activity and guests may have the opportunity to use ghost hunting equipment while on the tour.

They also run another tour called Hilo After Dark.
