Scream on the Garden

Visitors will have a spooky good time at Houston’s citywide costume contest and Halloween celebration for the whole family! There will be games, prizes, Halloween spectacle, a movie, performances, living statues, fortune tellers, music and more! Visitors can win candy and prizes playing our FREE games!

Haunted River

6-10:30 PM. Have a ghoulishly good time as you experience the River Walk on the one night a year when it transforms into the Haunted River. Compete in costume contests, listen to music and watch classic Halloween characters float the river in this slightly spooky event filled with tricks, treats, ‘n drinks.

San Antonio Zoo Boo

The Zoo hosts its family friendly, non-spooky Halloween celebration, Zoo Boo! Del Ray Halloween Parade

Following the parade awards are given for Best Pet Costume, Best Decorated Business, Best Decorated Home, and Best Decorated Stroller during a brief ceremony. There is no fee to compete for Best Costume or Best Decorated contests. Judges include elected officials and city dignitaries.
