Trick or Beat

98.7 The Beat, along with West Virginia Radio Corporation and The West Virginia Power, will host the annual Trick-Or-Beat at Appalachian Power Park. This annual event provides a FREE, safe and well-lit environment for Charleston area youth to trick-or-treat.

Boofest

Future Neenah hosts BooFest during the final outdoor Farmers Market of the season each year in Shattuck Park. It is a FREE, fun, fall, family event with Halloween activities including a kids and dog costume contest, games such as pumpkin bowling, carved pumpkin contest, and trick-or-treating both Downtown (10am-noon) and at the Market (9am-noon).

Haunted Hustle 5K

The Spooky Duo race event is a two-day challenge that combines the 5K event on Saturday with the Half Marathon or 10K on Sunday. Family Experience featuring live entertainment, bouncy village, face painting, balloon animals, s’mores, cookie decorating, kid’s yoga, local mascots, kid’s games and more!

Enchanted Forest

10 AM to 3 PM. Enchanted Forest is a non-scary, trick-or-treat hike through Myrick Park, where your child can dress up in their Halloween costume and meet friendly characters as they collect candy and other goodies along the way.

Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary Halloween Event

A fun family event suitable for all ages. Kids are welcome to come in their costumes! Trick-or-treaters will navigate the trails of the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary and visit different booths while hearing the wolves howl and owls hoot.
