Get your costumes ready for the annual Downtown Halloween Stroll. The stroll will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Participants are encouraged to begin at the Rock Springs Historical Museum where they can pick up a goodie bag and treats.
The Nicolaysen Art Museum hosts an adults only party with locally sourced cocktails paired with chocolates, hot hors d’oeuvres, and a masquerade contest. Costumes encouraged
HUB International Insurance will be hosting this event with trick or treating, popcorn and cider
5K run / 1 mile kids run, in costume
6 to 11 PM. The Cheyenne Boo-tification Ball is a fundraiser for Leadership Cheyenne’s class project.
8 PM to Midnight at the Yellowstone Room. Halloween dance. Cash bar, hors d’oeuvres, costume contest for funniest & scariest costume (winners announced at midnight), photo booth, 50/50 raffle, gift baskets
Noon to 2pm
Two departures each weekend day – enjoy a one hour yacht cruise on the Sacramento River, enjoying the scenic views of Sacramento while listening to Halloween-themed music as the kids work on Halloween coloring pages and get their face painted. Snacks available for purchase.
Learn about the Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos) during this four-day celebration at the Sacramento Children’s Museum with sugar skull decorating, and an ofrenda (alter) set up to remember and honor loved ones who have passed away.
Come to the Sacramento Children’s Museum dressed up in costume for trick-or-treat stations, a costume parade, and museum play! $5/person or donate a children’s book to get in for free! Members are free. 10am-2pm
