I went on a self guided tour before all the security and expensive tours and parking fees...years ago. As I went through the pool area on the way the a portal leading down to the front cargo hold, I decided to climb into the empty pool and brazenly laid down in it. I shut my eyes and just calmly lay there and listened to the sounds of the ship. She does make noises you know. 🤔 I heard footsteps walking up to the pool. Sounded like the pitter pattering of a kid's feet. I opened my eyes immediately and panned around, but didn't see anyone. I wasn't scared per se, but definitely interested. Needless to say though...I climbed out and continued on. Lol The ol Queen has many secrets.

When me and my husband were there last year we had most of these areas to ourselves. Looking through the windows of the swimming pool. Looking behind closed doors and finding huge ballrooms 🥰It was truly a magical experience. No ghosts though.

We went on the ghost tour a few years ago. Lots of interesting, unexplained stuff. Really a good time. I love the ship.

I haven’t seen the little girl but when I walk alone from the Observation Bar back to my cabin on the starboard side I often feel that someone is watching me. Of course there is no one there. It is hard to describe but I always felt that it was there to protect me. Once I enter my cabin the feeling is gone. Shortly after they opened the ship hotel we stayed on board and they gave us badges to identify us as hotel guests. We went and explored deck areas that were marked “no trespassing”. After a while we got a strange feeling that we were being watched and we weren’t wanted there. We left quickly and returned to our cabin.

Thanks Kirk I'll read up on it! My dream is to step on that ship and remember it this time! Just wish I knew where our cabin was located. But to see it will be a dream come true!

Open the pool to the public, it'd be a hit. We need more areas of that incredible vessel opened up.

June 7th (this year), my daughter and I were exploring the ship as hotel guests. We were on the starboard side lower decks about 8 pm. Two teenage boys were near us. We climbed the stairs to A deck and began walking. I heard/felt someone breathing behind me. I thought the teenagers were right behind us. As I turned/moved to get out of the way...there was no one there. I got goosebumps/chills immediately.

If you visit the ship, go to the chapel area. See what you feel there.

I was alone walking up the escalator across from watertight door 13 and I heard banging behind me. I looked behind me and saw someone in my periphery but by the time i looked full on, there was just and empty corridor. I spoke to the employee at the entrance to the engine room area and he informed me that I was the only guest currently in the engine room area.

Just another reason that you allow this stunning room to fall in to disrepair to give a spooky feel, That room should be restored and open to the public! Shame on the people who run it and allowed this famous room to gradually get worse and worse! The balcony at the top is leaning forward, if it does not get repaired soon it will collapse and all the 1936 tiles will be irreplaceable. Show this grand old lady the love she deserves by restoring her swimming pool.
