Cruise to Nowhere

Funtober readers who desire a quick weekend getaway should consider a cruise to nowhere.  Now I know what you are thinking: What in the heck is a cruise to nowhere?  Well, it’s a cruise that leaves port, sails around the ocean for a short time, and then returns to the port.

Cruises to nowhere are short one or two day cruises that fill a gap in the cruise ship schedule.  That makes them perfect for someone who wants to enjoy a quick, relaxing getaway or figure out whether they would enjoy a longer cruise.  It is also an interesting add-on to a vacation to the port city.  That’s probably one of the reasons that two day New York City cruises to nowhere are so popular.
