Fall brings school, football and more back to Cleveland every year.  When you notice the chill in the air, there will be dozens of events, festivals and other things to do in Northern Ohio.  Head out of the city in September and October and tons of farm fun awaits at corn mazes, pumpkin patches and other activities.  Here is a great calendar of events to enjoy before winter sets in for 2017:

Cleveland Pumpkin Patches

Beriswill Farms - Valley City, OH
They feature a corn maze, pumpkins, fresh fruit, farm market and more. They are open everyday starting around the middle of September this fall.

Burnham Orchards - Berlin Heights, OH
So much more than just fall farm fun. Amazing orchard complete with apples, fall festivals, corn maze, pumpkin picking, cider, hay and pony rides, shoot a pumpkin cannon and so much more. Taste their wonderful onsite bakery. They seem to have farm events all summer and fall seasons.

There are three mazes through their 17 acres of corn. There is also a pumpkin patch, wagon rides, petting animals, bucking cow train and farm play areas.

Cleveland Haunted Houses

7 Floors of Hell World of Nightmares - Middleburg Heights, OH
Their haunt season begins around the middle of September.  Back again with 7 great haunted attractions.  They advertise themselves as the largest haunted event in the world. Tickets are $28 online. Doors open at 7 pm and close at midnight on Friday and Saturday or 10 pm on six other nights.  7 Floors runs every Friday and Saturday night through October plus a couple added dates near Halloween.  7 Floors of Hell has over 65000 Facebook likes.

Blood Prison - Mansfield, OH
Nothing like being scared.  This old prison is all about horror.  It once housed some very violent prisoners.  Many died here.  Some may be still here.  Visit every Thursday through Sunday nights starting in early October.  Tickets are $25.  Wander in terror through the Ancient Gothic structure of the Haunted Ohio State Reformatory, Survive your incarceration…if you can!  BLOOD PRISON is waiting for you…ENTER if you dare, Escape if you can.  For the first time ever Blood Prison welcomes HELLZAPOPPIN CIRCUS SIDESHOW REVUE which is included with your Blood Prison ticket!

Buzzard Cove Screampark - Hinckley, OH
Buzzard Cove and Hinckleys Haunted Barn are open every Thursday through Sunday nights from early October.  Tickets are $20 for the barn.  They are returning with a new Scarecrow Alley Haunted trail and Hayride attraction.  They are guessing they will have to make some changes to attractions because of virus concerns.
