Atlanta Apple Orchards

Aamodt’s Apple Farm - Stillwater, MN
More than 15 different varieties of apples are available from late August through October. The pick your own apple season only lasts a few weeks, so don’t miss it!Special Event: Their 2nd Annual Apple Harvest EGGfest will be held on October 18, 2014.Farm is located 20 minutes from St. Paul and 30 minutes from Minneapolis.It was started in 1948 by the Aamodt family, and is now run by Chris, his wife Billi Jo and their children.

Pumpkin picking, corn maze and apple orchard located 30 minutes west of Minneapolis. Tractor pulled wagon rides tour the Orchard. Seven acre cornfield maze with children 4 and under free. Animal park has farm animals like goats, pigs and chickens. Pony rides available for kids on weekends through the woods trail. Cow train, corn pit, apple cannon and face painting also available. Kid’s play area includes haystack with slides, climbing tires, mini maze and more. Purchase items to take home at the Bakery, Apple Market and Gift Shop. Minneapolis Haunted Houses

Dead End Haunted Hayride - Wyoming, MN
Advertised as Minnesota’s Ultimate Horror Experience. They return for Friday and Saturday nights beginning in late September.  They are open most Wednesday through Sunday nights during October.  There are three haunted attractions at Dead End Haunted Hayride. The haunt is open 7 pm – 11 pm on Friday and Saturday nights. The attractions are open from 7 pm – 9 pm on other nights. The haunt attractions are Sunnyvale Asylum which used to house the freaks and outcasts. Dead End Hayride, Departed Oaks Haunted Trail, and Site 66 Haunted Cornfield has lots of chainsaws and mazes.  Please know you are part of the show and they can and will touch you.  This is one of the most popular haunt attractions in the country.  Dead End has over 75000 Facebook likes.

Deadwood Haunted Forest - Hudson, WI
Deadwood opens this fall in early October.  It runs every Friday and Saturday night in October.  This attraction has a half mile haunted trail, a bonfire, and concessions. Dreadwood Haunted Forest is open from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm.   You will walk a half mile on a dirt path in the late autumn, so bring warm clothes and comfortable shoes. You may see things that disgust you. You may feel disoriented, stifled, pursued, and preyed upon. Your guide will know the way. You MUST stay with your guide. There are no side-doors or escape routes — once you have entered Dreadwood, the only way out is through.

Fright Farm Haunted House - Maplewood, MN
Sorry folks but sadly the owner have decided to permanently close this popular haunt.  They will be missed.  This location was the former poor farm for indigent and elderly people. Lots of ghosts roam the area. Fright Farm Haunted House operates a Halloween Horror Show in October. Open Friday and Saturday nights in October. Fright Farm has been running for over 24 years.

Minneapolis Ghost Tours

Ghosts of Anoka Tours - Anonka, MN
Anonka is the Halloween Capital of the World and has had more than its fair share of spooky happenings. The 90 minute walking tour takes you 15 blocks through downtown Anoka starting at the Anoka County History Center and Library. The tour is run by the Anoka County Historical Society and is led by costumed guides. In September and October, there are added tours on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Additional tours are also run the week of Halloween. Advanced registration is required. Only 24 participants per tour. Tours often sell out, so register early. Cost is $7-9 per person.
