Portland Apple Orchards

Bell’s Orchard - Beaverton, OR
This is a home based business that was started in 2005.Their u-pick orchard has six varieties of apples that ripe from August to October, including Honeycrisp which is the star of their orchard and their favorite apple.They are a “short orchard” so children can enjoy picking from the trees too.No ladders are needed to reach the fruit.

Draper Girls Country Farm - Mt. Hood, OR
A 40 acre farm with u-pick fruit orchard and cider mill.They grow more than 35 different varieties of apples.Minimum picked apples is a level bucket, approximately 20 pounds.They sell non-pasteurized apple cider, one of the last licensed facilities in Oregon. They also make cherry, pear and grape-apple ciders.If you are a cider fan, join them for their Cider Days Celebration.Buy fresh fruits and vegetables in their Fruit Stand and don’t forget to try their cinnamon-sugar dried apples.Join them for a farm stay as well! Located about an hour from downtown Portland.

Fir Point Farms - Aurora, OR
This 35 acre farm is a family owned business by Jack and Jessica Romaine. Open every weekend in October. They have a six acre patch of pumpkins, corn maze, zoo, hay maze, bounce houses, tire swings, nature trail and giant slides. Enjoy fresh apple cider and apple cider donuts or stop in the Country Market for an ice cream cone. Free admission and parking. They are located at 14601 Arndt Road, Aurora, Oregon which is 21 miles south of Portland.

Portland Pumpkin Patches

Bella Organic - Portland, OR
Organic and non-organic pumpkin picking. There’s also a hay rides, hay maze, cow train and farm animals. It’s otherwise known as the Portland Pumpkin Farm and Twilight Maze. It has a seven acre cornfield maze with 3.2 miles of path from start to finish. Open daily in September and October. Separate, haunted corn maze with vampires, zombies and other scary creatures on Friday and Saturday evenings in late September and October. Past themes for the mazes have included the Ducks vs. Beavers (regular) and VooDoo Doughnuts (haunted) (2013). The location is at 16205 NW Gillihan Rd., Portland, OR 97231. This is 12 miles northwest of Portland.

Bushue’s Family Farm - Boring, OR
Pumpkin patch offers pumpkins by the pound. Hayrides take you out to the patch. Crawl through the adventure park in the greenhouse, meet the farm animals or take a pig train ride. Open Tuesday through Sunday during pumpkin season. They are located at 9880 SE Revenue Rd., Boring, Oregon which is 22 miles east of Portland.

Cinema of Horrors - Kelso, WA

Kelso’s “Cinema of Horrors” voted the second “Must See” haunted house in Washington this Halloween season! Cinema of Horrors Haunted House, in its fifth year at Three Rivers Mall in Kelso, WA will return to haunt the old, abandoned Three Rivers Cinema starting every Friday and Saturday in October. This year’s frightful fun includes two haunted houses, family friendly trick-or-treat nights and more nightly fun! Tickets range from $10-$20 and $15 pre-sale tickets are available online now. “Dark Legends of New Orleans,” their newest attraction, offers a blood-curdling, very dark trip back in time to historic New Orleans where voodoo, witchcraft, spirits and more are thought to lurk… The Cinema will offer a wide variety of yummy Halloween-themed fair food and deep-fried goodies. For families wanting a not-so-scary experience, the haunted house will offer “Trick-or-Treat Nights” for families with children under 13 years of age.

Davis Graveyard - Milwaukie, OR
Open nightly every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday beginning in early October.  This yard haunt has scared visitors for well over 10 years.  See creepy creatures and dazzling displays from the street.  No cost but donations welcome.

Fearlandia - Tigard, OR
Stay tuned as this haunt is moving in 2020 and as of the end of August they have not announced their new location on plans for this year.  Check their Facebook or web page for updates.  Fearlandia presented Oden’s Eye and Into The Dark attractions in 2019.  They open in early October and run every Friday and Saturday through November 2nd.  Check web page for some added dates.

BeerQuest Haunted Pub Tour - Portland, OR

Hawthorne Ghost Tour - Portland, OR
An educational adventure through the heart of East Portland’s old red light district. This is an outdoor walking tour that takes one and a half hours and covers approximately a mile and a half. There are frequent stops to tell spooky and real-life stories about Portland and the Pacific Northwest. At two separate locations, they attempt to contact the spirits. The tour meets at the SE corner of 37th and SE Hawthorne. They have tours at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for kids 7-12, and $12 for seniors and veterans.

Portland Underground Tours - Portland, OR
offered by the Cascade Geographic Society. The tours explore the Portland Underground, tunnels built to connect the businesses to the waterfront of the Willamette River and allow businesses to deliver goods while avoiding traffic. The cost is $8-26 depending on age and type of tour. Special ghost/paranormal/Friday the 13th/Halloween tours in addition to their regular Shanghai Tunnel tours. Tours depart from Hobo’s Restaurant unless otherwise indicated.
