The Zoo closes early on Friday and reopens shortly thereafter, transformed from your normal zoo into a Halloween extravaganza. Satuday and Sunday are full days. Kids can wind their way through decorated exhibits and walkways to collect candy and other treats from costumed presenters. Pass the Extinct Species Graveyard and see the markers for extinct animals like the Dodo Bird and Caspian Tiger. Take a spin on the Spooky Carousel and see more than 300 hand-carved and lit Jack-o-Lanterns. There is a Sensory-friendly hour on Saturday morning. The entire event is outdoors and is held rain, snow or shine so dress appropriately!
