As I begin Day 220 on our countdown to Halloween I am adding Corn Stalking USA to our list of Corn Mazes in Pennsylvania. It is located within easy driving distance of Philadelphia. Here are some brief words from the owner Rachel Peiffer.
Corn Stalking USA has both daytime and nightime fun for the whole family. They have a kids maze, a hi-tech corn maze, farm animals, a hayride and pumpkin patch, as well as great food and gifts. It looks like a lot of fun.
I am in the process of adding 23 attractions to our growing list of zombie paintball locations. Some of the new attractions are the Valley of Terror in West Chester, Pennsylvania; the SplaterPark in Mt. Gilead, Ohio; Zombie Hunters Paintball in Lenoir City, Tennessee; Commando Paintball Sports in Little Suamico, Wisconsin; and finally Odyssey Fun Farm in Tinley Park, Illinois.
The Chicago LGBT International Film Festival just announced it has moved its dates from November and now will hold its festival Reelings32 between September 18-25, 2014. Note there is already a different Chicago International Film Festival that runs in October.
Did you know Robert De Niro started a film festival? Yep following the 911 New York terrorist disaster he started with two partners the Tribeca Film Festival to stimulate the local economy.  Last week MSG Company (Madison Square Garden) purchased a 50% interest for $22.5 million. This festival began March 23, 2014.
Virginia Beach Neptune Festival names Thomas A. Barton III as the 41st King Neptune. He will preside over the September 26-28, 2014 festival.
Oregon Arts Commission awarded $67,500 to bring out of town and state audiences to arts events and activities. This includes $10,000 awarded to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival for their 4 day event CultureFest which runs in September 2014. The monies are to be used for advertising to bring multi-ethnic visitors to Ashland, Oregon.
