Winnie the Pooh was introduced to the world in 1926 when A. A. Milne published her collection of stories about Pooh Bear. Winnie the Pooh made his first appearance on television in 1960 on The Shirley Temple Show. After several theatrical films from Disney, he would return to the airways to get his own television show in 1983, before making it onto ABC in 1988.
