Scary Dayton Haunted Houses 2015

Dayton haunted houses are some of the scariest in Ohio.  Enjoy a great scary night out with your spouse, date, or friends.  Expect to be terrified at these haunted attractions.  For the price of a movie you can be part of the action as you come face to face with terror.  Most use animatronics, great props, Hollywood sets, and actors with makeup beyond belief.  You will be frightened.  Find all the haunted houses, trails, corn mazes, hayrides, and Halloween fun attractions in the Dayton area including Kings Island.

Nightmare on Valley Street, 5117 Valley Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45424
All new trails and scares for 2014.  What are you doing on Friday and Saturday nights between September 12th through October 25th?  Perhaps you should visit Nightmare on Valley Street.  Take the Hillbilly Hay Ride attractions for $10.  For a real fright spend 30 minutes going through the Haunted Trail with 30 scenes and 40 live monsters.  A $20 combo ticket will get you into the hay ride, trail, and Rat Trap Maze.  Enjoy Friday and Saturday nights from dark to midnight.

Haunted Cave at Lewisburg, 4392 Swisher Mill Road, Lewisburg, Ohio 45338
What’s scarier than a real cave?  The Haunted Cave at Lewisburg has added unusual cave creatures to their Water Monsters, and Great Maze attractions.  Tickets are $16.  Visit on Friday and Saturday nights from September 19th.  The times are 7 pm until midnight.

Riverside Jaycees Haunted Castle of Carnage & Trail – 1213 Old Harshman Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45431
The Jaycees have operated the Haunted Castle for 28 years.  Tickets are $12.  The two haunted attractions are open from September 26th through October.  The nights and times are Friday, and Saturday from dark until midnight and on Sunday nights until 10 pm.  They feature both the haunted castle and a haunted trail.

Slash Moraine tickets are $8.  The times are 8 pm to 12:30 am.  Enjoy every Friday and Saturday night from October 11th to the 26th.

Land of Illusion Haunted Scream Park – 8762 Thomas Road, Middletown, OH 45042
What has live spooks, madmen, and lunatics with chainsaws?  Of course it’s Land of Illusion.  The five attractions are Haunted Trail, VooDoo Bayou, Killer Klowns, Temple of Terror, and Dr. Psycho’s Haunted Estate.  When done with the five haunts enjoy the DJ, live music, bonfire, and stage show. The Scream Park is open on Friday and Saturday nights starting on September 12th.  In October they are open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.  Stay until 2 am on Friday and Saturday or 11:30 pm on Sunday.  Sunday tickets are $24.99.  Friday and Saturday tickets are $34.99.  New for 2014 is Scareoke, a talent singing contest with real prizes. This is a Funtober Favorite 100 and a top 100 most popular haunted attraction in the country.

Halloween Haunt at King’s Island – 6300 Kings Island Drive, Mason, Ohio 45040
Kings Island Haunt takes over the theme park on Friday and Saturday nights from September 19th through November 2nd.  The Friday times are 6 pm to 1 am.  Most Saturday times are 11 am to 1 am.  Caution since zombies, psychotic clowns, and twisted souls take over the park it is too intense for children under the age of 13 at night. Enjoy the park rides, featured haunts, mazes, and shocks.  New attractions coming for 2014.  If you have a Gold Pass season ticket you get in for free.
