Annual event with 80,000+ visitors throughout the month. The premiere event, a parade, is one of the largest parades of the region, and takes place the 3rd Saturday of October. Other events occur throughout the month – see the event website for the brochure or interactive calender. Enjoy vendors, carnival, 5K/10K, pageants, dog show, lip-syncing competition, band festival, wine tasting, quilt show, live entertainment and more. Started as a Marching Band competition in 1966.
