There’s a number of fall and harvest festivals on this list of Missouri fall festivals.  But it’s the World Series of Barbecue that I have my eye on at this time.  World class bbq in Kansas City?  Sign me up!  Especially after having indulged in Oktoberfest in Missouri.

Beerfest runs from 6-9 pm at Holiday Inn Convention Center, 3615 S. Rangeline.  Tickets are $25 at the door or $20 online.

New Madrid Fall Festival – New Madrid, MO – October 5, 2013
Festival is held in historic downtown New Madrid, Missouri.  The 3rd Annual New Madrid Fall Festival will be held in conjunction with the Bass Pro Shop’s Big Cat Quest Tournament as well as the Rendezvous On The River (a pre-1840 mountain man event).  There will be a youth fishing rodeo, beauty pageant, car truck & bike show, washers tournament, petting zoo, bouncy house, vendors, food, and of course the big catfish weigh-in.

New vendors and events added weekly, huge event. For more information call 877-748-5300. Craft vendors still accepted $15 for 10×10 outdoor space.
