Coconino County Fair - Flagstaff, AZ - Sep 1 to Sep 4, 2017
Held Labor Day Weekend. Enjoy entertainers and musicians, carnival rides, livestock exhibits, vendor, food, and lots of family type fun. Since its establishment in 1949, the Coconino County Fair has promoted community involvement and interest in agriculture, horticulture, livestock, household arts, and diverse traditions. This is accomplished by providing an educational and entertaining experience in a family-friendly environment that encourages the public to showcase their accomplishments in agriculture and other areas.

Taylor Sweet Corn Festival - Taylor, AZ - Sep 2 to Sep 3, 2017
It celebrates the primary crop of local farmers with a parade, fireworks, horseless rodeo and more fair fun.
Sonoita Labor Day Rodeo - Sonoita, AZ - Sep 2 to Sep 4, 2017
Over 700 participants compete for $40,000 in prizes at this Labor Day weekend rodeo contest. Held at the fairgrounds. Event dates back more than 100 years. Lots of concessions, steak fry, and even a dance following the rodeo on Saturday and Sunday.

Tempe Sister City holds its annual Tempe Oktoberfest as a fundraiser for its student and teacher exchange program. At the three day Oktoberfest, you will find a carnival, dachshund runs (Sunday) and a 5 Mile / 5K / 1 mile race (Saturday) in addition to German food, beer & wine gardens and live music. 15 german beers and three stages of live music! Kinderfest with craft zone and carnival amusements for kids. Six hours of polka music on Sunday. Eight 4 oz. samples of German beer will also be served from noon – 6 for just $20. Admission is free.
