Sausalito Art Festival - Sausalito, CA - Jan 1, 2021
Taking a break for 2020. Fine art, music, food, and wine over Labor Day weekend at one of the most prestigious art festivals in the country.

Artwalk Carlsbad - Carlsbad, CA - Jan 1 to Sep 27, 2020
Canceled for 2020, look for their return in 2021. Normally: This fine art festival is part of the ArtWalk San Diego brand known for bringing together all facets of the arts in San Diego while promoting the experience of owning original art. More than 175 visual artists will show and sell their work, alongside colorful chalk art that will fill the asphalt as you watch street paintings being created before your eyes on the pavement.

Ventura Art and Street Painting Festival - Ventura, CA - Jan 1 to Sep 8, 2019
Canceled for 2020, look for their return in 2021. Normally: Fifty artists will be showing their work, while forty-five street painters will be creating vibrant works of art on the harbor sidewalks along the docks. This festival is produced by Ventura County Art Events, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation.

Twain Harte Chili Cook-off - Twain Harte, CA - Jan 1 to Sep 12, 2020
Canceled for 2020, look for their return in 2021. Normally: The competition will be more intense this year as they have a couple of first responder teams doing firehouse chili. The Peoples Choice Chili will be done at businesses around the town. Check out each business and vote for your favorite. Tastings cost $5.00 (you get a wristband) and taste to your “hartes” delight. Beverages will be available for a fee. Event takes place in various locations around town.

Fresno Collector’s Expo - Fresno, CA - Jan 1 to Nov 3, 2019
Canceled for 2020, look for their return in 2021. Normally: Over 65 vendors offering comics, action figures, anime, arts and craft customize science fiction items, costume jewelry, plus live auction, cosplay contest, celebrity appearances, and art show.

Pumpkin & Dia de los Muertos Festival Lakeport, CA - Lakeport, CA - Jan 1 to Oct 3, 2020
Canceled for 2020, look for their return in 2021. Normally: The Pumpkin & Dia de los Muertos Festival on the streets of downtown Lakeport will celebrate everything fall!, There will be activities for all from 11 am to 5 pm including vendors, ballet folklorico, beer and wine, corn hole tournaments, food booths, live music, and a petting zoo, plus there will be a scarecrow contest for children and teens. This community event is a fundraiser for Lakeport Main Street Association.

Tam Valley Oktoberfest - Mill Valley, CA - Jan 1 to Sep 21, 2019

California Wool and Fiber Festival - Boonville, CA - Jan 1 to Sep 15, 2019
Canceled for 2020, look for their return in 2021. Normally: One of the country’s oldest and largest wool shows, held since 1926. Hundreds of fleeces from across the state are on site for judging, plus fleece sale, spinning contest, vendors, sheep shearing demonstrations, used equipment booth, fiber arts show and more. Happens in conjunction with the Mendocino County Fair and Apple Show.

Paul Bunyan Days - Fort Bragg, CA - Jan 1 to Sep 2, 2019
Canceled for 2020, look for its return in 2021. Normally: Celebrate the bigger than life logger and his giant blue ox.  Enjoy the bird walk, craft show, classic cars, model trains, Labor Day Parade, Kiddie Parade, logging show, BBQ,  and lots more. A Fort Bragg tradition since 1939.

Pittsburg Seafood Festival - Pittsburg, CA - Jan 1 to Sep 8, 2019
Canceled for 2020, look for their return in 2021. Normally: An outdoor event for the last 30+ years. Features great food including BBQ, fish, seafood, and plenty of music, arts and crafts, amusement rides, jet ski races, a beer pavilion, and lots more fun.

Sausage & Suds Music Festival - San Leandro, CA - Jan 1 to Oct 7, 2018
Canceled for 2020, look for their return in 2021. Normally: A free music event attracting more than 8,000 visitors annually to downtown Parrott St. A beer and wine garden pairs nicely with the sausage.

Springville Apple Festival - Springville, CA - Jan 1 to Oct 20, 2019
Canceled for 2020, look for their return in 2021. Normally: This annual event on the third weekend of October attracts more than 20,000.

Santa Barbara Harbor & Seafood Festival - Santa Barbara, CA - Jan 1 to Oct 12, 2019
Canceled for 2020, look for their return in 2021. Normally: Enjoy the freshest seafood, maritime exhibits, live entertainment, and more at the annual day-long festival in Santa Barbara’s historic working harbor. Presented by the City of Santa Barbara in partnership with the Commercial Fishermen of Santa Barbara and the Santa Barbara Harbor Merchants. Free admission. Activities for all ages.

Calabasas Pumpkin Festival - Calabasas, CA - Jan 1 to Oct 18, 2020

Mammoth Village Oktoberfest - Mammoth Village, CA - Sep 16 to Sep 18, 2021
An annual event with plenty of music, dancing, kids activities, beer tastings, and authentic German cuisine.

Squaw Valley Oktoberfest - Olympic Valley, CA - Sep 18, 2021
Noon to 6 PM. This annual event will transform the Village at Squaw Valley into a miniature Bavaria complete with authentic German beer and food, Bavarian music, the ever-popular Oktoberfest Games and plenty of family fun. Entrance to Oktoberfest and entertainment are FREE. All proceeds from beer sales benefit the High Sierra Lacrosse Foundation Festival goers must be 21 years or older with a valid ID to purchase beer. Brats, Bavarian Pretzels and Rootbeer floats available for purchase. All Oktoberfest Games are FREE to enter. First come, first to participate

Oktoberfest at the Inn - Rancho Santa Fe, CA - Sep 23, 2018
The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, a Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Award-top rated resort offering world-class exclusive luxury, will host a Bavarian-style Oktoberfest celebration on Sunday, Sept. 25 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. This will be a family event. The event will feature a Biergarten, live music, German faire and a kids zone.

Oktoberfest by the Bay! - San Francisco, CA - Sep 20 to Sep 22, 2019
Named one of the ten best places to celebrate Oktoberfest in the USA in 2010 by AOL. This San Francisco Oktoberfest has live music headlined by the 21 piece Chico Bavarian Band. There are four sessions (one each Friday / Sunday and two on Saturday). Children are not allowed on Friday and Saturday nights but are encouraged on Sunday. Annual German festival hosted by Encinitas Chamber of Commerce from 10 AM to 5 PM on Mountain Vista Drive and El Camino Real. Street craft fair with 200 vendors, German-American band The Bluebirds and Gemutlichkeit Apine Dancers. Ceremonial parade kicks it off at noon. Craft Corner is 21+ only and will highlight craft breweries. There will also be a family fun zone for kids. Free parking is available at Flora Vista Elementary School with free shuttle service.

Alpine Village Oktoberfest - Torrance, CA - Oct 4 to Oct 27, 2019
Southern California has been celebrating Oktoberfest at Alpine Village for nearly 50 years. USA Today named it one of the best Oktoberfests in the world. It is held weekends in October in a 32,000 square foot tent. Located in Torrance, it is the most popular Los Angeles Oktoberfest. Tables are on a first come first served basis – there are no reservations. It’s 21+ on Friday and Saturday but all ages are welcome on Sunday. Tickets are between $5 and $20 depending on day. Kids 12 and under as well as those dressed in dirndls or lederhosen get in free on Sundays.

Annual Oktoberfest by the Montrose-Verdugo City Chamber of Commerce. It is the largest outdoor event of the City of Glendale and the Foothills. Contests include stein holding, sausage eating, Master & Little Miss OKtoberfest, best dressed dog and a coloring contest. Games, rides and bingo as well. German bands and dancing, too.

Pints in the Pines Oktoberfest - Twain Harte, CA - Oct 5, 2019
Featuring Craft Beers, German Beers and a commemorative beer mug. This one day “Under The Tent” event opens at 11:00 am and taps close at 4:00 pm. Brew tasters will be able to choose from some of California’s top craft breweries. Entry fee is inclusive at $25.00 per person for a minimum of 2o beer tastings available. Wine will also be available. Craft and food vendors on site. Live music on stage. Tickets are available online or at the door on a first come, first serve basis.

San Francisco Fall Fest - San Francisco, CA - Oct 6, 2019

Ocean Beach Oktoberfest - San Diego, CA - Oct 11 to Oct 12, 2019
The annual Ocean Beach Oktoberfest. This two-day eclectic, beachside festival will include a variety of exciting activities, contests and entertainment with proceeds benefiting local non-profit organizations. The event will kick off at 3:30 Friday afternoon with live music in the 21 and older beer garden. There will be a 2 for 1 happy hour Friday from 4:30 to 6:01. The Saturday morning festivities will kick off early with a Drill instructor workout on the beach, followed at 9 a.m. with the fifth annual OB Brat Trot, a fundraiser sponsored by the Ocean Beach Community Foundation with proceeds going towards local youth sports. All ages are invited to participate; registration is $25 per family (up to 6 participants) for the 2K Family Fun Run at 9 a.m. and $30 per person for the 5K Beach Run to follow at 10 a.m. Registration for the 5K Beach Run includes free entrance into the beer garden and two complimentary beers for runners 21 and older. New to the event this year, there will be a German microbrew tasting benefiting the Warrior Foundation Freedom Station. The special tastings dubbed Poured with Courage will be served by active and retired wounded service members on behalf of the Warrior Foundation Freedom Station, which will share in the proceeds. Tasting tickets are $30 and will be sold online at www.OBOktoberfest.com prior to the event and at the gate as long as they last. Saturday will also include a free beachside all-ages stage with performances by an OB Oktoberfest band, along with a food and craft vendor area on the Veterans Plaza lawn. Beer garden entertainment will include live music; the annual Sausage Toss Competition for a $1,000 cash prize; and bratwurst-eating, stein-holding and other competitions.

Oakhurst Fall Festival - Oakhurst, CA - Oct 11 to Oct 13, 2019
The chocolate and wine festival has grown to a fall festival that can be enjoyed by all. There are midway ridges, Jedi academy, meet and greets with different characters, scavender hunt, local music, local vendors, food trucks, beer and wine tastings and more!

Cotati Oktoberfest - Cotati, CA - Oct 12, 2019
Authentic German meal of bratwurst, potato salad, sauerkraut for $15 with Oktoberfest microbrews from Lagunitas Brewing Company available. Lots of contests including wiener dog races, tankard hold and beer stein race. Admission is free. Polka the night away on the dance floor.

Nipomo’s Best Oktoberfest - Nipomo, CA - Oct 12, 2019
Annual Oktoberfest with Miss Nipomo Pageant, Battle of the Bands, live entertainment, bbq tasting and competition, beer and wine garden and kids activities. Event is outdoors and open to the general public. 11 AM to 5 PM on Saturday hours with live music from Steppin Out, Mean Gene Band and The Spaces Between. 11 AM to 4 PM on Sunday with the second annual Battle of the Bands and a BBQ competition with tasting. Kids area on Saturday and Sunday has pony rides, face painting, bounce house, petting zoo and mechanical rides. There’s also arts and crafts booths and the Dave Dana Memorial car show.

Oktoberfest Corte Madera - Corte Madera, CA - Oct 12, 2019
Held annually in Menke Park at Old Corte Madera Square. A community tradition for the whole family, Oktoberfest features amazing local foods, kids activities, live music, unique homebrewed beers, craft beers, wines, meads, craft hard ciders, and kombucha.

Due to COVID-19, this popular music festival is canceled for 2020. Initially, it was rescheduled from April to October 2020. Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is two subsequent weekends hosted at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. It stems from a Pearl Jam concert in protest of Ticketmaster venues which showed the Polo Club was a good site for large scale events, leading to the first Coachella Festival in 1999, featuring artists like Beck and Rage Against the Machine. While no festival was held in 2000, it has been held continuously since, with slight changes in format, including years where the festival consisted of a single two-day weekend. The festival features popular headliners, reuniting music groups, and new acts. Acts include musical acts from different genres including pop, EDM (electronic dance music), rock, indie and hip hop. Visual arts, including large art installations and statues, are also part of the show each year. The 2020 festival was scheduled to feature the return of headliner Rage Against the Machine, plus Frank Ocean, Travis Scott, Lana Del Rey, and more. Ticketholders with 2020 passes will have their passes honored at the April 2021 event.

Ticketholders with 2020 passes will have their admission transferred to the 2021 show, or can request a refund. More information will be sent out via email by the event organizers.
