Summersville Lake Lighthouse Festival and Car Show - Mt Nebo, WV - Aug 22, 2020
Artisans and crafters from across the state will be showing off their skills, and there will be live Appalachian music, great food, entertainment, raffles, and a Classic Car Show. The Humane Society and local Animal Shelter will have kittens and puppies available for adoption, and there will be archery games and lighthouse tours available as well, as well as a number of activities for children like face painting and balloon animals. Parkersburg Paddlefest is a fun-filled three-day festival dedicated to people-powered watercraft. Kayaks, Canoes, and Stand-up Paddleboards are welcome to come and participate in this unique event. Point Park, at the confluence of the Ohio and Little Kanawha Rivers, is the setting for the first two day’s activities, including the main day, Saturday. The weekend concludes with a lake excursion on Sunday at North Bend State Park Lake. Coincides with the Downtown Throwdown, a craft and BBQ event.

Bridge Day Festival - Lansing, WV - Oct 17, 2020
Rappelling, skydiving and more into the New River Gorge. More than 80,000 come to watch the BASE jumpers and other events. The bridge sits 800 feet above the gorge below.
Mothman Festival - Point Pleasant, WV - Sep 18 to Sep 19, 2021
Mothman Festival is an annual event held every third weekend in September that commemorates the 1966 Point Pleasant, West Virginia Mothman sighting, which gave birth to the infamous red-eyed winged legend. People from all over the world gather around charming Main Street to celebrate their favorite cryptid during this one of a kind event. Check out live music, snap a selfie with the Mothman Statue, take a private bus tour through the TNT area where the Mothman was spotted, and let the kiddos have some fun too, with face painting, an obstacle course, zip line, and more!

Festival of the Rivers - Hinton, WV - Aug 10, 2019
It will be a full day of live music, local artists, vendors, a car show, food and fun! The Campbell-Flannagan-Murrell House Museum on Summers Street has organized the Festival of the Rivers since 2004. This 15th year the Museum is happy to be joining 2nd Saturday’s organization. Festival of the Rivers has been held at the Freight Depot during the Labor Day weekend, but this year it will be held on the 2nd Saturday in August on the grounds behind the Memorial Building, along 2nd Avenue and down into town. Live music will begin at 12:30 PM and continue until 9:00PM. The headliner band (to be announced) will begin at 7:00 PM. Blues, Grass-roots, and traditional musicians show the world the influence of Appalachian music.
