Rhythm & Roots - Charlestown, RI - Aug 30 to Sep 1, 2019
Come on down to Ninigret Park for a fantastic lineup of live entertainment across 5 stages, plus artists in residence and a family stage! A variety of vendors selling music, clothing, custom and handmade jewelry and crafts, and food will be on-site. Annual event for 20+ years. Camping spots are available. Full festival and day tickets for sale.  

Rhode Island Comic Con - Providence, RI - Nov 1 to Nov 3, 2019
Three day con at the Rhode Island Convention Center, with adult and child one-day passes or weekend pass, and VIP option. Meet celebrity guests for autographs and photos, browse the work of comic book artists and exhibitors, after party, and more.

Arts festival, event, and fireworks with activities at Daggett Farm, Looff Carousel, Watercooler Society, and historic Daggett House.

WaterFire - Providence, RI - May 26 to Nov 10, 2018
Lighting of over eighty braziers on scheduled evenints throughout the season, with lightings occuring after sunset and remaining lit until after midnight. The lightings are meant to be explored and savored on foot (plus the fire marshal won’t allow folding chairs on any riverwalks during lightings).

Rhode Island Chinese Dragon Boat Races & Taiwan Day Festival - Pawtucket, RI - Sep 8, 2018
Fun for the whole family as you watch Taiwanese-style dragon boats race by. Under the giant tent, the Taiwan Day Festival is filled with cultural performances, arts & craft tables, interactive activities, a dumpling eating contest and more!

Newport International Boat Show - Newport, RI - Sep 13 to Sep 16, 2018
13 acres of powerboats and sailboats for boarding and review, plus marine products and services, seminars, boating coarses and other events. Tickets go on sale in June. Parking is $16 per vehicle.

Ocean State Oyster Festival - Providence, RI - Sep 22, 2018
Celebrating fine Rhode Island oysters, music, and craft-beer. An Oyster Fan ticket gets you a half-dozen locally sourced oysters from an array of RI-based growers; a local micro-brewed beer, glass of wine, or spiked ginger beer. Live music & DJ’s. Proud member of the Ocean State Aquaculture Association (OSAA) with the goal of raising awareness about aquaculture industry and protecting Narrangasett Bay.

Downtown Rising Fest - Pawtucket, RI - Sep 22, 2018
3 stages of live music as three music festivals converge – Rocktucket, River Bend, and Culture Shock make downtown Pawtucket come alive at this family friendly event that also features street performers, children’s activities, BMX exhibition, food trucks, classic cars, art vendors, two beer gardens, and more. $5 suggested donation.

Starts with a kickoff parade. They will celebrate with German food music and dancing every Wednesday and Thursday through October.

AutumnFest - Woonsocket, RI - Oct 5 to Oct 8, 2018
40th annual. Annual Columbus Day weekend festival. Held at the World War II Veteran’s Memorial State Park. Includes Midway rides, arts and crafts, food court, live entertainment and fireworks. Since 1977.

International Oktoberfest - Newport, RI - Oct 6, 2018
Sendoff summer with a Rhode Island Oktoberfest on the Newport waterfront. Expect seasonal brews with savory German cuisine and music emanating from the beer gardens. Saturday has an active, college/beerfest vibe. Seniors and families with small children are encouraged to attend on Sunday, which is typically less congested.

Bold Point Park Oktoberfest - East Providence, RI - Oct 6, 2018
The 26th Annual International Oktoberfest is brewing at Bold Point Park on the East Providence waterfront… It’s back on Columbus Day weekend, Saturday! Smith’s Castle Colonial Harvest Festival - North Kingstown, RI - Oct 13, 2018
Enjoy the harvest, apple crisp, and a beautiful autumn Saturday with children’s games, food, and music. 12-4 PM. Rain date is typically the Sunday after the scheduled day.
