Camden Windjammer Festival - Camden, ME - Aug 30 to Aug 31, 2019
A weekend of maritime fun on the harbor including tours of the windjammers, lobster crate race, Build-a-Boat contest, Chowder Challenge, talent show and other maritime activities.

Pemaquid Oyster Festival - Damariscotta, ME - Sep 29, 2019
More than 10,000 oysters are served annually at this event to benefit the Edward A. Myers Marine Conservation Fund. Held on the banks of the Damariscotta River at Schooner Landing Restaurant & Marina. Other food options available. There is also an entertainment stage, educational exhibits and other locations. Noon to dusk, rain or shine.

Mason’s Brewing Oktoberfest - Brewer, ME - Sep 19 to Sep 30, 2016

Belgian Beer Fest - Portland, ME - Sep 17, 2017
A one day two session event with hundreds of authentic Belgian beers and inspired offerings.  Sponsored by the Allagash Brewing Company.

Nostrano Garlic Festival - Southwest Harbor, ME - Sep 22 to Sep 24, 2017
Annual event for 15+ years at Smugglers Den Campground. Local restaurants, garlic growers, and breweries celebrate the harvest of the garlic crop.. There is also a large farmers market.

Manchester Apple Festival - Manchester, ME - Sep 30, 2017
Annual event for 10+ years at Lakeside Orchards. Admission and most events are free.

Maine Mall Octoberfest - South Portland, ME - Oct 14, 2017

Blue Hill Fair - Blue Hill, ME - Aug 30 to Sep 3, 2018
An annual Labor Day weekend event located at 233 Elsworth Road in Blue Hill.  Features live entertainment, attractions and exhibits for the family, plus fun contests and more!.  Describes itself as a true “Down to Earth” Country Fair.

Booth Bay Harbor Fest - Boothbay Harbor, ME - Aug 31 to Sep 9, 2018
A 10 day celebration of local food and live music on the waterfront.  A food and fashion show.

Eastport Pirate Festival - Eastport, ME - Sep 1 to Sep 9, 2018
Annual event starting with the Invasion of Lubec before the festival, followed by a weekend of activities for pirates. Attendance estimated at 10,000+ and 90% reportedly dress as a pirate.

Acadia Night Sky Festival - Bar Harbor, ME - Sep 5 to Sep 9, 2018
10th annual! Families and amateur astronomers enjoy the stars for a weekend. Seminars, presentations, boat cruise, kayak tour, climbing and other activities with an emphasis on astronomy. Don’t miss the Cadillac Mountain Star Party!

Maine Open Lighthouse Day - , ME - Sep 8, 2018
This annual event attracts 15,000+ guests each year who take advantage of this rare opportunity to climb and learn about over two dozen historic Maine lights, open between 9-3pm.

Camden International Film Festival - Camden, ME - Sep 13 to Sep 16, 2018
Annual documentary film and art festival for 10+ years in mid-coast Maine. Over 80 films are screened from dozens of countries.

Bethel Harvestfest & Chowdah Cookoff - Bethel, ME - Sep 15, 2018
Celebrate the harvest and the beginning of fall foliage season with arts, crafts, music, a farmers’ market, an apple pie contest, Chowdah Cookoff and more on the town common of Bethel.

Rangeley Oktoberfest - Rangeley, ME - Sep 27 to Sep 30, 2018
Celebrate the Colors, Taste and Sounds of Fall at Rangeley Oktoberfest in the beautiful Western Mountains of Maine. This 4-day celebration will feature food, entertainment and a cornucopia of beers in a unique festival exploring the restaurants, pubs, shops and museums located on the National Scenic Byway from Rangeley to Oquossoc.

Oktoberfest Brewfest Weekend - Casco, ME - Sep 28 to Sep 30, 2018
This adults only weekend allows you to enjoy Maine made beers and wines, browse the Maine artisan craft show, listen to the Oktoberfest entertainment and take a cruise on the Point Sebago Princess. It is held at Point Sebago, a 775 acre resort on Sebago Lake.Location: Point Sebago 261 Point Sebago Road, Casco, ME 04015

Cornish Apple Festival - Cornish, ME - Sep 29, 2018
This free festival is held in historic Cornish Village on the last Saturday in September. Event includes apple pie contest, live entertainment, arts & crafts, 5K race and other activities. It is a fundraising event for the Cornish Association of Businesses.

Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta - Damariscotta, ME - Sep 29 to Oct 8, 2018
Pumpkinboats (400-700 pound, hollowed out pumpkins) are paddled or motor powered in this famous regatta on the Damariscotta River. Also includes giant pumpkin weigh-off, parade, pumpkin drop, pumpkin pancake breakfast and other activities. Main events are over Columbus Day Weekend. Maine Lakes Brew Fest - Casco, ME - Sep 29, 2018
15th Annual event at The Beach at Point Sebago. 35 brewers and 15+ food vendors expected.

Fryeburg Fair - Fryeburg, ME - Sep 30 to Oct 7, 2018
Livestock exhibition, parade, competitions like the Fireman’s Muster and the Skillet Throw, midway rides and carnival games. Admission is $12 a day.

Freeport Fall Festival - Freeport, ME - Oct 5 to Oct 7, 2018
20th annual! A three day festival showcasing New England artists and craft makers on the L.L.Bean campus, plus live music, food, and more!

Acadia Oktoberfest - Southwest Harbor, ME - Oct 5 to Oct 6, 2018
The first day of this celebration, Friday from 4-6 PM, is the annual Wine & Cheese Festival. Tickets are $15 per person or $27 per couple and includes program and wine tasting glass. The weekend is Acadia’s Annual Oktoberfest. Location: Smuggler’s Den Campground 20 Main St, Southwest Harbor, ME 04679

Sunday River Fall Festival Weekend - Newry, ME - Oct 6 to Oct 7, 2018
North American Wife Carrying Championship, Kids’ Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest, New England Corn Hold Championship, Blue Mountain Arts and Crafts Fair. Wine Tent, Sunday Bloody Sunday Tent. Concerts on Saturday and Sunday. Scenic Chairlift Rides to the Peak Lodge, free wagon rides and more.

Swine and Stein Oktoberfest - Gardiner, ME - Oct 6, 2018
A street party on Water Street in Gardiner to celebrate Maine craft beer, Maine musicians, and Maine pork products. If Oktoberfest had its history rooted in Maine, this is how the worldwide party would go. Location: Water St, Gardiner, ME 04345

York Harvestfest & Kidfest - York Beach, ME - Oct 13, 2018
Annual event for 30+ years on the weekend after Columbus Day. Held from 9 AM to 4 PM. Live performances, food, kids games, juried craftors, HarvestFest, and horse-drawn wagon rides at Short Sands Beach. Public parking at York’s Wild Animal Kingdom.

Marshwood Education Foundation Oktoberfest - Eliot, ME - Oct 13, 2018
Back again is the annual Oktoberfest fundraiser for the Marshwood Education Foundation. Appetizers and desserts from local chefs, live music, DJ, dancing and live auction with games and prizes. Activities kick off at 7:00 pm.

Kennebunk HarvestFest - Kennebunk, ME - Oct 13, 2018
Features include a parade down Main Street, bounce houses, face painting, treat bag decorating, pumpkin decorating, apple cider, games, candy, and more! Free, family friendly event – don’t forget to bring a costume!

Maine Harvest Festival - Bangor, ME - Nov 17 to Nov 18, 2018
Cooking demonstrations, pie contest, live music, local wines and beers. Located at the Cross Insurance Center.
