The first day of this celebration, Friday from 4-6 PM, is the annual Wine Festival. Saturday is Acadia’s Annual Oktoberfest

Cooking demonstrations, pie contest, live music, local wines and beers. Located at the Cross Insurance Center.

Harvest on the Harbor - Portland, ME - Oct 25 to Oct 27, 2023

Great Maine Apple Day - Unity, ME - Oct 15, 2023
Workshops, cider-pressing, orchard tour and delicious treats at the Common Ground Education Center. Admission is $2 (members) or $4 (non-members).

Kennebunk HarvestFest - Kennebunk, ME - Oct 14, 2023
Features include a parade down Main Street, bounce houses, face painting, treat bag decorating, pumpkin decorating, apple cider, games, candy, and more! Free, family friendly event – don’t forget to bring a costume!

York Harvestfest & Kidfest - York Beach, ME - Oct 14, 2023
Annual event for 30+ years on the weekend after Columbus Day. Held from 9 AM to 4 PM. Live performances, food, kids games, juried craftors, HarvestFest, and horse-drawn wagon rides at Short Sands Beach. Public parking at York’s Wild Animal Kingdom.

Sunday River Fall Festival Weekend - Newry, ME - Oct 7 to Oct 8, 2023
North American Wife Carrying Championship, kids’ pumpkin pie eating contest, New England corn hole championship, Blue Mountain Arts and Crafts Fair. wine tent, Sunday Bloody Sunday tent. Concerts on Saturday and Sunday. Scenic chairlift rides to the Peak Lodge, free wagon rides and more.

Swine and Stein Oktoberfest - Gardiner, ME - Oct 7, 2023

Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta - Damariscotta, ME - Oct 6 to Oct 9, 2023
Pumpkinboats (400-700 pound, hollowed out pumpkins) are paddled or motor powered in this famous regatta on the Damariscotta River. Also includes giant pumpkin weigh-off, parade, pumpkin drop, pumpkin pancake breakfast and other activities. Main events are over Columbus Day Weekend. Pemaquid Oyster Festival - Damariscotta, ME - Sep 24, 2023
More than 10,000 oysters are served annually at this event to benefit the Edward A. Myers Marine Conservation Fund. Held on the banks of the Damariscotta River at Schooner Landing Restaurant & Marina. Other food options available. There is also an entertainment stage, educational exhibits and other locations. Noon to dusk, rain or shine.

Punkinfiddle Family Festival - Wells, ME - Oct 1, 2022
