Carbon County Fair - Price, UT - Aug 8 to Aug 10, 2019
Demolition derby, livestock and agricultural events, carnival, live entertainment, exhibits and more

Snowbird Oktoberfest - Snowbird, UT - Aug 17 to Oct 20, 2019
Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 6:30 pm on the designated weekends. The Snowbird Ski Resort (located southeast of Salt Lake City) hosts Utah’s most popular German festival. Over 60,000 attend this annual Utah Oktoberfest which started in 1973. Get a taste of Bavaria with authentic food, live German music and yodelers. Local breweries will also be featured. Arts and crafts from local and regional artists will be offered for sale in Der Marktplatz. A ceremonial one litre beer stein is available for collectors. Last year, it kicked off the celebration with a 3K Lederhosen race on the opening day. There was also a Grand Oktoberfest on Labor Day weekend with procession, ceremonial keg tapping and best costume contest to crown Miss and Mister Oktoberfest. Visitors generally consume some 6,000 pounds of weisswurst and bratwurst, 4,500 pounds of chicken and 2,000 Granny Smith apples are eaten in the delicious apple strudel.

Old Capitol Arts and Living History Festival - Fillmore, UT - Sep 5 to Sep 7, 2019

FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention - Salt Lake City, UT - Sep 5 to Sep 7, 2019
Around 120,000 attend this event. Set historical records for most people attending a convention in Utah and Guinness Record for most people dressed as Comic Book characters. With Celebrity Guest Panels, Autograph signings, Photo ops, gaming competitions, Cosplay Contests, Special Events, KidCon, and the Film Festival, there is something for everyone.

Utah State Fair - Salt Lake City, UT - Sep 5 to Sep 15, 2019
An 11 day fair starting annually on the Thursday after Labor Day. Live entertainment, agriculture events, children’s activities, food vendors and more. Since 1856.

Salt Lake City Greek Festival - Salt Lake City, UT - Sep 6 to Sep 8, 2019

This festival has been running for over 110 years, and has a few pre-events starting a few days earlier (Princess Pageant, Queen Pageant, and Community Day). The festival kicks off with a 3-man scramble tournament, live music, melon run, parade, pancake breakfast, melon carving contest and games, and more!

Huntsville Marathon - Huntsville, UT - Sep 21, 2019
One of the most pristine marathons that Utah has to offer, this course starts in the Monte Cristo area and ends at Huntsville Town Park. A Boston Marathon Qualifier. All marathon runners can catch a free bus from Huntsville Park to the starting line.

Urban Arts Festival - Salt Lake City, UT - Sep 21 to Sep 22, 2019

Harvest Moon Celebration - Ogden, UT - Sep 21, 2019

Grace Lutheran Oktoberfest - Sandy, UT - Sep 22, 2018
Beer garden tent and authentic German food. Local vendors sell products in the marketplace. Children’s carnival with midway rides for family friendly fun. All day ride pass is available for the obstacle course, inflatable slide, bounce house and select other activities. Helicopter rides available in the afternoon and professional fireworks show in the evening.
