2019 Festivals

Crossville Oktoberfest - Crossville, TN - Oct 18 to Oct 19, 2019
Annual festival hosted by the Crossville Knights of Columbus Council 8152 with live music, and both domestic and imported beverages. German food includes pork schnitzel, kasseler rippchen, bratwursts, knackwursts, weisswursts. Admission is $6 in advance and $7.50 at the door. Children under 14 get in free. Held the third weekend in October every year at the Crossville Knights of Columbus property on Highway 70. Attendance is approximately 2000. Location: 2892 Hwy 70 East, Crossville, TN 38555

Fayette County Cotton Festival - Somerville, TN - Sep 9, 2017
17th annual event at Historic Somerville Square. Live music includes blue grass, country, and southern rock. Arts & crafts, car & truck show, festival food, youth talent competition and canning & cooking contest.

National Muscadine Festival - Sweetwater, TN - Sep 22 to Sep 23, 2017
live music, food and family fun. Bbq competition, Miss Muscadine and more. Events will be held at Tsali Notch, Tennessee’s largest muscadine vineyard, and downtown Sweetwater.

Kingsport Oktoberfest - Kingsport, TN - Sep 22 to Sep 24, 2017
6th annual Oktoberfest with craft bier garden with 45 breweries offering over one hundred craft beers, live music, German food, wiener dog race, craft market, cornhole tournament, Tennessee Idiotarod shopping cart race and kid zone. It has been named twice by Blue Ridge Outdoor Magazine as a Top 50 festival. Admission is free.

Take I-75 to Niota Exit #56, take connector road east to US Hwy. 11, turn right heading south, left at the red light. Niota is located between Knoxville & Chattanooga, TN. (SE TN.). Pancake Breakfast 6 AM till 9 AM $7.00 Plate includes pancakes, toppings, sausage and drink hosted by B & B Concessions “It’s A Little Bit Greek.” A portion of the pancake sales is so graciously being donated to our beloved depot. Festival begins at 9 AM till 4 PM.

National Rolley Hole Marbles Championships and Festival - Hilham, TN - Sep 15, 2018

Oaklands Mansion Oktoberfest - Murfreesboro, TN - Sep 29, 2018
Oaklands will host its fourth-annual Oktoberfest on Saturday from 5:00 to 9:00pm. Supports Oaklands Mansion and features many local craft brewers. In addition to this impressive list of craft brewers, they also welcome the number one independently owned cider producer in the nation, Bold Rock. They are bringing their multi award-winning IPAs. Stones River Total Beverage will be pouring additional brews. Festival-goers will experience live music from local bands and enjoy delicious treats from local food trucks such as German fare from FitzWillys and gourmet hotdogs from That’s My Dawg. While at Oaklands.

National Storytelling Festival - Jonesborough, TN - Oct 5 to Oct 7, 2018
46th annual. Large circus type tents are set up throughout the downtown area with general admission seating to enjoy performances. Special ghost story concerts and midnight cabarets.

RiverRocks Festival - Chattanooga, TN - Oct 5 to Oct 21, 2018
10 unique athletic events plus live music, and festival activities in downtown Chattanooga every weekend in October.  Events include trail running, open water rowing, mountain biking, rock climbing, and many more.

Unicoi County Apple Festival - Erwin, TN - Oct 5 to Oct 6, 2018

Knoxville Brewers’ Jam - Knoxville, TN - Oct 6, 2018
Held at Civic Coliseum Plaza, enjoy craft beer, music and food. Unlimited samples from 45 craft brewers. Event runs from 1 to 7 PM, but VIP ticket gets you in an hour early (plus VIP tent with snacks, seating and private restroom, commemorative gift and unlimited samples.

Southern Artisan Cheese Festival – Nashville, TN – September 12, 2015

Fall Frenzy – Gallatin, TN – September 18-19, 2015.  This festival features handmade, homemade, vintage and antique works.  Find original art, rescued treasures, and re-purposed items.  Enjoy live music on stage, demonstrations, food trucks, children’s activities, and hand on things to do for adults.  After the event spend the evening in downtown for dinner and shopping fun.  It is located at the County Fairgrounds, 222 Fairgrounds Road, Gallatin.
