Colorado State Fair - Pueblo, CO - Aug 28 to Sep 7, 2020
The largest summer event in the state started as a horse exhibition in 1869, before Colorado became a state. Fairgoers can now enjoy a carnival, live entertainment, livestock and horse shows, competitions, and fair food.

Cystic Fibrosis Cycle for Life – Colorado - Longmont, CO - Aug 17, 2019
Colorado CF Cycle for Life is a fully-supported ride with route options (32-65 miles) for riders of all abilities. Riders will benefit from fully stocked rest stops every 12 miles, bike mechanics for maintenance and repairs, volunteers to cheer you along the way and support vehicles to help you complete the ride. Pearl Pass Mountain Bike Tour - Crested Butte, CO - Sep 7 to Sep 16, 2019
2019 – bad avelanche debris especially on the Aspen side – debated date on Facebook is either 9/7-8 or 9/15-16 – unsure of which is planned. Normally: Meet at the Crested Butte Mountain Heritage Museum for a bike ride to Aspen! There is a self-supported camp-out Saturday night if you do the two day ride, or you can ride the 38 miles over the 12,705 ft Pearl Pass all in one day on Sunday. Shuttles will return to Crested Butte on Monday morning ($20 per person plus $10 for gear). Don’t forget to book your Aspen hotel room for Sunday night, or have other plans to stay or leave!

Downtown Boulder’s Fall Fest - Boulder, CO - Sep 13 to Sep 15, 2019
This 3-day autumn festival features local food, micro-brews, music, children’s entertainment and activities and featuring Firefly Handmade Markets all along the historic Pearl Street Mall.

Loveland Oktoberfest - Loveland, CO - Sep 13 to Sep 14, 2019
The event will feature beer from several Loveland craft breweries and food from vendors. Beer will be sold in several locations and allowed anywhere inside the fenced area. Live local music. Wear your dirndl and lederhosen for the best dresses contest at 2:00 on Saturday and hold those steins high for the stein hoisting contest at 4:30. Other games will be run by the Loveland, Big Thompson Kiwanis Club and include hammerschlagen, Loveland Mobile Mini Golf, corn hole, carpet ball, ladder ball, washer toss, and more. All money raised from playing games will go directly to Kiwanis Club. Autumn Gold Brats and Beer - Estes Park, CO - Sep 21 to Sep 22, 2019
25th annual festival with bratwurst, beer and live music. It is a family friendly event with face painting, corn bag toss, bouncing room, soap bubbles and rides in antique cars and a fire engine. Raffle tickets are $100 each with a grand prize of $10,000. Festival happens in Bond Park. Sunrise Rotary has been organizing this event since 1995.
