Incredible Feast - Seattle, WA - Jan 1 to Sep 22, 2019
Canceled for 2020, look for their return in 2021. Normally: A benefit for the Good Farmer Fund and the Neighborhood Farmers Market. 20+ chefs are paired with farmers to create tasting samples for guests. Local breweries, wineries, music, carnival, silent auction and more will also be available for your enjoyment. 21+ event.

Fauntleroy Fall Festival - Seattle, WA - Jan 1 to Oct 27, 2019
Canceled for 2020, look for their return in 2021. Normally: Save the date and join in at the Fauntleroy Church, YMCA, and Fauntleroy Schoolhouse for the biggest event of this town’s year.

Bumbershoot - Seattle, WA - Jan 1 to Sep 1, 2019
Canceled for 2020, look for its return in 2021. Normally: A music and arts festival in Seattle since 1971. Held the first weekend in September (Labor Day Weekend) downtown at the Seattle Center.

Deutschesfest - Odessa, WA - Sep 16 to Sep 19, 2021
With 15,000 visitors annually, there are plenty of attractions for all ages, including authentic German food, city-block big biergarten, live music, a parade, kids zone, street vendors, helicopter rides and more.

Kirkland Oktoberfest - Kirkland, WA - Sep 25 to Sep 27, 2020
Both local craft beers and German imports in the biergarden, brats, multiple entertainment stages with live music, wiener dog races (typically Sunday), and costume contest on the Kirkland waterfront. Games include foosball, stein hoisting, keg rolling, beer pong and corn hole. Homebrew competition takes place before event with award ceremony at the festival. Located just over the bridge from Seattle near Redmund. Must be 21+ to enter. This event benefits several nonprofits, including Kirkland Off-Leash Group, Imagine Housing, Sibling House and Eastside Timebank. Leavenworth Oktoberfest - Leavenworth, WA - Oct 2 to Oct 17, 2020
Leavenworth, located two hours east of Seattle, celebrates Oktoberfest for three weekends in October. Started in 1998, it is now attended by more than 10,000 people annually. Four venues of activities for families to enjoy. Keg tapping ceremony every Saturday at 1 PM. The Leavenworth Marathon is held on one of the Oktoberfest weekends. Live music, beer and German food, of course. There are free shuttles within Leavenworth and shuttles outside the city available for a fee. Location: Front and Tenth St, Leavenworth WA

Birdfest and Bluegrass - Ridgefield, WA - Oct 3 to Oct 4, 2020
Virtual events for 2020 – see their website for more details/schedule. Normaly: BirdFest and Bluegrass is the main event every year that the Friends puts on to bring awareness to Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge, and all that it has to offer. Celebrate the Sandhill Crane returning to the Refuge, a huge stately bird that is endangered in Washington State, and celebrate everything the Refuge is and what it brings to the community. With endangered species, hundreds of migratory species, an auto tour route, photo blind, walking trails, the Cathlapotle Plankhouse, education and habitat restoration programs, and so much more – there is a lot to celebrate, and a lot to learn. There are workshops, hikes and walks all catered to teach you how to use the Refuge. You can learn how to listen for bird species, identify plants, about the geology of the area, the peoples who came before us and still tend to the land, how to take photos of it all, paint the landscape, and much more.

Old Apple Tree Festival - Vancouver, WA - Oct 3, 2020
Celebrate the oldest living apple tree in the Northwest, planted at Fort Vancouver in 1826. Enjoy the trees, apples, and cider amidst the National Historic Site setting, plus live music, tree care workshops, tours of the Vancouver land bridge, kids activities, apple press (bring clean apples and containers to participate) and more! A limited number of tree cuttings from the Old Apple Tree will also be distributed.

Annual event held at the Seattle Center Armory. A celebration of Croatian heritage and culture. Music and dance performances, authentic food booths, cooking demonstrations, marketplace and more. Don’t miss the Kick Off Dance and Sing-Along the night before at the Russian Community Center.

Cranberry Harvest Festival - Grayland, WA - Oct 9 to Oct 11, 2020
Bog tours, cranberry cook off, cranberry eating contest, Jog the Bog and Beach, live music, and firelight parade.

Oktoberfest Northwest - Puyallup, WA - Oct 9 to Oct 11, 2020
The Annual Washington Oktoberfest (held for 15 years) will have beer, brats and authentic entertainment. There’s entertainment planned from noon to almost midnight. It’s also the home of the Hammerschlagen Tournament of Champions in the northwest. The Hammerschlagen is one of the most addictive bar games ever and has been happening at this German festival since 2005. Contestants try to drive a nail into wood faster than their opponents. Entry to the Hammerschlagen is free but first come, first served. Great prizes to the top three contestants. Other events include the 5K, wiener dog races, stein holding, corn hole toss, beer pong, chicken dance and Kinderhaus/Family Fest Zone. Kids are welcome to try their own version of the Hammerschlagen with supervision. Shop for souvenirs at the German Corner. This is an all ages event until 7 PM and 21+ only after 7 PM every evening. As an indoor event, it happens rain or shine.

Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival - Port Angeles, WA - Oct 9 to Oct 11, 2020
Enjoy the foods of the Olympic Peninsula with celebrity chef cooking demonstrations, Chowder Cook-Off, Grab-a-Crab Derby, local wine and beer, craft vendors, live music, and more. Free admission!

Cranberrian Fair - Ilwaco, WA - Oct 10 to Oct 11, 2020
Hosted during the cranberry harvest on the second weekend in October. Bog tours, crafts, food and music to celebrate the harvest. Admission to the events at the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum is covered by purchase of a $5 collectible button. The Cranberry Museum is free. The Cranberry Trolley transports visitors between the two locations.
