Olive Branch Octoberfest - Olive Branch, MS - Oct 5, 2019
An annual, all day festival sponsored by the Olive Branch Beautification Commission. Admission is free to the longest running event in the city’s history. Crafts, games and food are available. Children’s activities in the past have included face-painting, sand art and mini golf. They also host a number of arts and crafts vendors who display their products.

Cleveland Oktoberfest - Cleveland, MS - Oct 11 to Oct 12, 2019
More than 15,000 gather here every year for the event that has been called one of the best outdoor festivals in the Delta. It is organized by more than 100 community volunteers. While you are here, you will also be able to enjoy the Mississippi Delta State Barbecue Championship. The event kicks off on Friday afternoon, when the BBQ contest (featuring chefs from around the South) starts and they begin announcing some of the division winners. Live entertainment and dancing continue well into the evening. The antique car show and craft booths are on Saturday. Children’s activities include inflatables, face painting, rock climbing wall, train rides and more. So prepare for a weekend of pork barbecue, German brats, live music and fun. Since 1982.

This is an evening of blues, great food, and art at One Memphis Street. DeSoto Arts Council will have work on display during this time that is related to Hill Country Blues. All proceeds from this event benefit the Friends of the Von Theater and the DeSoto Arts Council.
Chili Festival - Tupelo, MS - Oct 11, 2019
Everyone’s favorite chili cook-off is back, and teams compete against each other in a number of prize categories, including best recipe, team spirit, best costumes, most creative tent and most original theme. Attendees can come at both lunch and dinner – tickets are sold at the gate upon entrance. You get to eat a bowl of delicious chili, then sample each team’s recipe, all before casting your vote for People’s Choice. As if that wasn’t enough, there’s beer and live music to make it the perfect Friday night!

32nd annual. Held at Rosalie Bicentennial Gardens, it features a carnival section with rides, games, and fun for all ages. Enjoy plenty of food. Local sports bars host college football on Saturday and the Saints football on Sunday. Also the exciting Balloon Race plus live music all weekend.

Celebrating 100 years since World War I ended and Armistice Day/Veteran’s Day has been celebrated, and continuing to honor all those who have served. Parade Begins at 11:00 AM in Downtown Biloxi to honor the many U.S. Veterans that attend the Gulf Coast Veterans Parade.

Saint John Oktoberfest - Hattiesburg, MS - Oct 6, 2018
St. John Lutheran Church, with many of its church members descendants of German immigrants, has hosted this annual event for more than 30 years. It shares German food and culture with visitors to raise money for the churchâ€™s mission work. They offer German brats, sauerkraut, potato salad and other food for sale while guests listen to folk songs. There is also a silent auction, quilt raffle and deli featuring German meats and desserts.
