A big event with several stages of big name music, camping, great food, live SEC football, arts & crafts, and plenty of souvenir and arts vendors. Great blues music but now a full multi-genre concert for all.

Tupelo Oktoberfest - Tupelo, MS - Oct 26, 2017
A popular German-style Oktoberfest in Tupelo hosted by the Downtown Tupelo Mainstreet Association (DTMSA). The event is ordinarily from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. at Tupelo Farmers’ Depot in downtown Tupelo and includes beer tasting, music, games/contests with great prizes and authentic Bavarian style cuisine. Live music, Bavarian cuisine. Tickets cost $20 and include an inaugural beer stein and two vouchers for two full-sized beers of choice.

Mississippi Delta Blues and Heritage Festival - Greenville, MS - Sep 15, 2018
The largest blues festival in the Delta and the oldest in the United States. Always held on the 3rd Saturday in September, it features both local and national blues artists. Started in 1977.

Mississippi Peanut Festival - Collins, MS - Oct 6 to Oct 7, 2018
Mitchell Farms host this annual event. Â Includes over 75 vendors of yard art, jewelry, collectibles, antiques, arts, crafts, and a wide variety of food, plus pumpkin patch and a tour of a working farm with turn of the century antiques.
Vicksburg Fall Fest - Vicksburg, MS - Oct 6, 2018
Features live music, a bike race, sidewalk sale, and kid’s activities. Watch the antique tractor displays and demonstrations.
Saint John Oktoberfest - Hattiesburg, MS - Oct 6, 2018
St. John Lutheran Church, with many of its church members descendants of German immigrants, has hosted this annual event for more than 30 years. It shares German food and culture with visitors to raise money for the churchâ€™s mission work. They offer German brats, sauerkraut, potato salad and other food for sale while guests listen to folk songs. There is also a silent auction, quilt raffle and deli featuring German meats and desserts.
Olive Branch Octoberfest - Olive Branch, MS - Oct 6, 2018
An annual, all day festival sponsored by the Olive Branch Beautification Commission. Admission is free. The longest running event in the cityâ€™s history. From what I have seen, it appears to have more of a â€œOctober festivalâ€ vibe than a German festival celebration atmosphere. Crafts, games and food are available. Childrenâ€™s activities in the past have included face-painting, sand art and mini golf. They also host a number of arts and crafts vendors who display their products. The winners of the Olive Branch Arts Council Annual Photography Contest will have their pictures on display as well. The attendance figures that I have seen were from 2010 indicated they had approximately 4000 visitors.
Loblolly Festival - Laurel, MS - Oct 6, 2018
Annual event held the first Saturday in October. Get heritage with a small town feel with lots of artists, crafters, and craftmen set up downtown. Enjoy great food, funnel cake, and art judging.
Deep Blues Festival - Clarksdale, MS - Oct 11 to Oct 14, 2018
Visit Clarksdale for a weekend of blues. Tickets are just $75 for the weekend (Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights, plus Sunday afternoon) and gives you access to all shows at the New Roxy and the Shack Up Inn. There is plenty of free daytime music as well.
Fall Flower and Garden Fest - Crystal Springs, MS - Oct 12 to Oct 13, 2018
Annual event at the Truck Crops Experiment Station. Lots of food, drink, and gardening fun with a 3 acre garden and over 5000 people attending.
Cleveland Oktoberfest - Cleveland, MS - Oct 12 to Oct 13, 2018
More than 15,000 gather here every year for the event that has been called one of the best outdoor festivals in the Delta. It has been held annually for more than 25 years and is organized by more than 100 community volunteers. While you are here, you will also be able to enjoy the Mississippi Delta State Barbecue Championship. The event kicks off on Friday afternoon, when the BBQ contest (featuring chefs from around the South) starts and they begin announcing some of the division winners. Live entertainment and dancing continue well into the evening. The antique car show and craft booths are on Saturday. Children’s activities include inflatables, face painting, rock climbing wall, train rides and more. So prepare for a weekend of pork barbecue, German brats, live music and fun. Delta Hot Tamale Festival - Greenville, MS - Oct 18 to Oct 20, 2018
Greenville is the “Hot Tomale Capital of the World”. Activity starts at the Greenville Inn and Suites but expands throughout downtown. Enjoy children’s fun in the square, the Street Party on Friday night, artists, festival music, live bands, hot tomale contests, and a big parade.
Great Mississippi River Balloon Race - Natchez, MS - Oct 19 to Oct 21, 2018
32nd annual. Held at Rosalie Bicentennial Gardens, it features a carnival section with rides, games, and fun for all ages. Enjoy plenty of food. Local sports bars host college football on Saturday and the Saints football on Sunday. Also the exciting Balloon Race plus live music all weekend.

Gulf Coast Veterans Parade - Gulfport, MS - Nov 11, 2018
Celebrating 100 years since World War I ended and Armistice Day/Veteran’s Day has been celebrated, and continuing to honor all those who have served. Parade Begins at 11:00 AM in Downtown Biloxi to honor the many U.S. Veterans that attend the Gulf Coast Veterans Parade.
