Design a Halloween T-shirt for a Contest

Love Halloween? Fancy yourself an artist? Try your hand at designing a Halloween T-Shirt for the Lahaina Town Action Committee.

The Prize
The lucky artist will get a “Living Large in Lahaina Package.” He or she will enjoy a Maui hotel stay as well as gifts and certificates from Lahaina merchants worth more than $500 total. The winner will be announced on July 13th at 8 pm.

About Lahaina
Two million people visit Lahaina, a historic whaling village, every year. Also the former capital of the Kingdom of Hawaii, it is the second most popular spot to visit on Maui. The beaches are number one.

The Contest Rules
The original, unpublished image designed must have a recognizable “Halloween in Lahaina” theme. The artwork should have a minimum of four colors and work on both black and white T-shirts. The design should be family appropriate and convey a positive, non-offensive message. It must contain the words, “2012 Halloween in Lahaina.” The design must be submitted in Vector or PDF format.

Applications can be found at http://www.visitlahaina.com. They must be submitted by 5 p.m. on July 2nd (I’m guessing Hawaii time) by email to [email protected]. There is an non-refundable entry fee of $25 per entry and each artist is limited to five entries.
