Kansas City Apple Orchards

Alldredge Orcards - Platte City, MO
A small family farm six miles south of Platte City with pick your own apples and pumpkins.Your children will enjoy visiting the farm animals and playing on the playground.They also have a go karts, a rustic barn store and bakery.In the evenings during the week, they host hayride parties.

Cider Hill Family Orchard - Kansas City, KS
A 25 acre orchard with 900 apple trees.Ride to the orchard in their apple wagon.When you have had your fill of apples, pick out a pumpkin, go fishing in one of their five ponds or enjoy the picnic lunch you packed.Jeff and Joan Shearer bought the farm in 2011

Fieldstone Orchard - Overbrook, KS
A no chemical farm with u-pick organic fruits and vegetables.38 varieties of apples are available starting Labor Day Weekend, though some are not available for picking.They have fresh pressed cider starting at the end of September that is not pasteurized made from their own apples. Or try a cider slushie.The farm is located southwest of Kansas City, an easy drive from Lawrence, topeka or Emporia.

Kansas City Pumpkin Patches

Buckeye Acres - Warrensburg, MO
They feature u-pick strawberries, blackberries, and in the fall pumpkins. The address is 91 NE 600 Rd., Warrensburg, MO 64093. It is about 58 miles east of Kansas City.

Carolyn’s Country Cousins - Liberty, MO
Owned and operated by Carolyn and Buddy Raasch. More than 50 acres of pumpkins on the vine. Haywagon rides, pig races, mining camp, giant slides, tractor trikes, playground, petting farm and pre-picked pumpkins. Different fun family activities every weekend. Country food and snacks available in the Red Barn Cafe. They also have a Country Store & Gift Shop. Located next door to the Liberty Corn Maze. The address is 17607 N.E. 52nd Street, Liberty, MO 64068. It is located about 17 miles east of Kansas City.

Crazy Craig’s A-Hwy U-Pick Pumpkins - Liberty, MO
The farm is open for pick your own everyday from the middle of September through October 31st. They also sell mums and fireworks. The address is 14521 A Highway, Liberty, MO 64068. It is about 24 miles north of downtown Kansas City.

Kansas City Haunted Houses

3rd Street Asylum - Bonner Springs, KS
It appears they will open in 2020.  Their Facebook page is the best way to get additional information and dates.

Hemlock Hill House - Overland Park, KS
Located in downtown Overland Park they are open every night in October.  Revel in the grandeur and lost hope of The Stirring Witch, the Grave thoughts of Mr. Digger, come see what Piper, Prue and Pheebee have brewing or partake in the wickedly lighter side of Jack and Statler.   Open from dark through 10 pm.

Macabre Cinema - Kansas City, MO
The fun begins in early September.  Imagine exploring a 1930’s haunted movie theater playing haunt movies and terrifying guests and you have Macabre Cinema. Tickets options available starting at $27. Most nights the attraction runs from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am. Combo tickets and passes are available with The Beast, and Edge of Hell. Haunt runs most Friday and Saturday nights in October.

Kansas City Ghost Tours

Full Moon Productions - Kansas City, MO
Kansas City Ghosts & Gangsters Tour by bus and a Full Moon ghost hunt at a commercial haunted house that is believed to have real ghosts, too. The Ghosts and Gangsters tour is a three hour bus trip with stops at a number of haunted locations around Kansas City, including Hotel Savoy, St. Mary’s Church and Union Station. Ticket prices are $30 per person. The website says there are no more tours

Ghost Tours of Missouri - Independence, MO
