Alldredge Orcards - Platte City, MO
A small family farm six miles south of Platte City with pick your own apples and pumpkins.Your children will enjoy visiting the farm animals and playing on the playground.They also have a go karts, a rustic barn store and bakery.In the evenings during the week, they host hayride parties.

Cider Hill Family Orchard - Kansas City, KS
A 25 acre orchard with 900 apple trees.Ride to the orchard in their apple wagon.When you have had your fill of apples, pick out a pumpkin, go fishing in one of their five ponds or enjoy the picnic lunch you packed.Jeff and Joan Shearer bought the farm in 2011

Fieldstone Orchard - Overbrook, KS
A no chemical farm with u-pick organic fruits and vegetables.38 varieties of apples are available starting Labor Day Weekend, though some are not available for picking.They have fresh pressed cider starting at the end of September that is not pasteurized made from their own apples. Or try a cider slushie.The farm is located southwest of Kansas City, an easy drive from Lawrence, topeka or Emporia.

Johnson Farms - Belton, MO
A 140 acre farm with 60 acre pick your own pumpkins as well as 20 acre corn maze. Weekend pony rides, pig races, straw maze bale, jumping pillow, pumpkin cannon and train rides. They also sell pre-harvested pumpkins. They have been providing outdoor fall family fun for more than ten years. Open daily during the pumpkin season from late September through Halloween. Admission is $8-12 with children 2 and under free. The address is 17701 Holmes Road, Belton, MO 64012. It is about 24 miles south of Kansas City.

Vertacnik Orchard - Lawrence, KS
A small family orchard with seven different varieties for apple picking on weekends in September and October.They also have cider when available and peaches in the summer.Farmer’s Market open weekends in the fall.

Wagon Wheel Orchard - Gardner, KS
A no spray orchard with apple picking located in Johnson County on the California and Oregon trails.They are a preservation orchard offering varieties of apples that you won’t see in the store – they have more than 1,000 kinds of trees.They also have a petting zoo with goats and lambs.

Weston Red Barn Farm - Weston, MO
A working farm like you would have seen at the start of the 20th Century.They offer apple and pumpkin picking as well as hayrides, pony rides, farm animals and a corn maze as part of their fall festival.TOpen daily from Labor Day Weekend to the First Weekend in November.Country Store and Farm Market offers fresh produce, antiques, collectibles, gifts and food items.Admission to the farm is free.About: Steve Frey purchased the land for the farm in 1989 and opened it for business in 1990.Frey operates it with his wife, Cindy.

Dunn’s Cider Mill - Belton, MO
Fresh apple cider and cider donuts located two miles south of Kansas City, MO and one mile east of the Kansas state line.Fresh cider season is mid-September to Thanksgiving.They are open Wednesday through Sunday.
