Rochester

G&S Orchards - Walworth, NY
A 150 acre family fruit farm. They have seven varieties of apples available for picking starting in September. Another eight varieties are available for purchase. U-pick and pre-picked pumpkins are available starting in late September. Payment must be cash or check. Only 15 minutes from downtown Rochester.

Green Acre Fruit Farm - Rochester, NY
A u-pick family farm with pumpkins and a variety of apples and fruits. Twenty two varieties of apples are available starting in late August. Their address is 3460 Latta Road, Rochester, NY 14612. It is located about 13 miles northwest of downtown Rochester. They started allowing apple picking following a hail storm in 1970. Now they have twenty two varieties available starting in late August. Red raspberries are also available for picking in autumn.

Hurd Orchards - Holley, NY
A family owned fruit and flower farm in WNY between the Erie Canal and Lake Ontario. They grow more than forty nine varieties of apples including historic apples, experimental disease resistant apples, traditional apples and contemporary apples. Apple picking available ini September and October. They also offer pumpkin picking and a variety of special events luncheons.

Morgan’s Farm Market - Marion, NY
A multi-generation working family farm for more than 50 years. U-pick apples available in October. They grow a wide variety of apples, but not all varieties are available for picking. There are also u-pick pumpkins. Family fun day on the Saturday of Columbus Day weekend includes tractor pulled wagon rides, pony rides, bin maze for kids, and Alpaca’s Maple Cotton Candy. Located thirty minutes east of Rochester.

Watt Farms Country Market - Albion, NY
A family owned business established in 1980 in the Western New York Fruit Belt. More than 20 varieties of apples available for picking. Train rides on weekends from mid-Sept to mid-Oct on the Orchard Express. Country Store has ice cream, homemade fudge and a variety of local products. Located between Rochester and Niagara Falls.

Whittier Fruit Farm - Rochester, NY
A family owned and operated farm by the Russell family since 1974. Thirty-two varieties of PYO apples sold by the pound. No ladders necessary – they are easy to pick! Tractor and wagon rides take guests to the pumpkin patch on weekends in October. Pumpkins are sold by the pound.

Wickham Farms - Penfield, NY
The Wickham family has been farming pumpkins since 1986 when they began Wickham Farms. They grew their first corn maze in 1992 and still grow a three acre corn maze annually. Other activities include apple picking, hayrides around the pumpkin field, mini golf, jumping pillows and batting cages. The address is 1821 Fairport Nine Mile Point Road, Penfield, NY 14526. It is about 11 miles east of Rochester.

Buffalo/Niagara Falls

LynOaken Farms - Medina, NY
Nearly 20 varieties of apples for picking from their orchard in September and October. Enjoy a wagon ride to the orchard on the weekend as well as fresh cider doughnuts. Gift shop offers cookies, muffins, brownies and artisan cheese year round.

Roberts Farm Market - Medina, NY
A three generation family owned and operated farm market on a 75 year old farm. Pick your own apples between early September and late October. They grow more than 20 varieties on approximately 150 acres. They press their own apple cider on a 35 year old cider press.

Smith’s Orchard - Pendleton, NY
A second generation family run orchard since 1976. They have a 20 acre orchard with Macintosh, Red Delicious, Empire and more varieties of apples. U-pick available on weekends. Apples are priced at 55 cents per pound. Their cider mill produces apple cider from September through December.

Syracuse

Abbott Farms - Baldwinsville, NY
Pumpkin patch prices are based on size. Corn maze is open August through October. Flashlight maze on Friday nights in October. Pick your own apples and enjoy the apple cider from their cider press. They have a variety of apples ready for picking in September and October. Wagon rides, bounce house and apple cannon are also available on the farm. Country Store sells bakery items, fudge, ice cream and other items. Fall festival admission is $7 per person for ages 3 and up with a group discount available. Parking is free. Abbott Farms is a family favorite place with over 12940 Facebook likes. The address is 3275 Cold Springs Road, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. It is located about 11 miles northwest of Syracuse.

Behling Orchards - Mexico, NY
A 160 acre farm with u-pick apple orchard and a small pumpkin patch. Hayrides, cider mill and haunted house. On the weekends, they have pony rides, children’s train ride, carousel, haunted maze, kids corn maze and inflatables. Located in Oswego County north of Syracuse. Free admission and free parking. It is located at 114 Potter Road, Mexico, NY. They are about 39 miles north of Syracuse.

Critz Farms - Cazenovia, NY
Pick your own and pre-picked apples and pumpkins. Tractor pulled wagon rides to the patch on weekends or a short walk on weekdays. Pre-picked pumpkins and fall decorations are available near the barn. Corn maze, kids pedal tractors and playground. Over 25 animals in the farm animal area. Live music and entertainment on weekends. Fresh sweet apple cider and winery tasting room. The Fall Harvest Festival runs from mid-September through the last weekend in October.  Paid admission gets you a Season Pass with unlimited free admission on future visits. Special events include farm equipment show, cyclocross bike races, magic show, pedal tractor pull and haunted barn for little monsters. Critz Farms has more than 12,643 Facebook likes. Ontario Orchards - Oswego, NY
A u-pick farm with apple orchard and pumpkins. Open Saturday and Sunday from mid-September to mid-October. Hayrides, cider mill press, corn maze and other fall farm activities for kids. Kick off fall with their Fall Jamboree. The address is 7735 State Route 104, Oswego, NY 13126. It is about 40 miles north of Syracuse.
